I Had To Kick Eric André Out of the Studio | Thanks Dad with Ego Nwodim

This week on Thanks Dad, Ego sat down with fellow actor, comedian, and podcaster Eric André! To start, Eric says thanks to his pal Ego and they talk about working together on the upcoming movie, “Little Brother.” Eric tells Ego the original name he had planned for “The Eric Andre Show” and reveals the musical career path he could have taken if it weren’t for comedy. They two friends bond over their love of food and their hatred for airplane turbulence. To finish, they give a lucky caller some relationship advice!

This is a faith-based podcast 😂😂

Your monologue about handwashing, and the lack thereof, hit so close to home. You're a true hero and my new best friend.

I just found this show a couple days ago, and I have become obsessed with Ego's interview style. She is so attentive and keeps the interview going so smoothly.......but what got me to subscribe is her insanely ADHD rambles at the beginning of these eps. This is exactly how I think I would be if I had a podcast. One or two topics to cover and about 5-7 minutes of just rambling haha. I love it!

He is a lot more normal than I expected because he is ABSOLUTELY OFF THE RAILS in the characters he portrays!!!

Eric has such a unique charisma—I can’t quite put my finger on it, but this exchange was really interesting to watch!

5:33 the fact that I went to get a snack and use the restroom and came back, you were still talking about washing your hands, and I did wash my hands by the way😂😂

I agree with Ego on her monologue. What I've learned in life is handwashing/hygiene isn't based on socioeconomics, (real talk switch) cuz I worked with some rich nasty muhfkas that weren't taught, scolded or shamed into being clean for themselves or at least thoughtful to others AND I've encountered more hi status people being less hygienic because they still date, travel and buy expensive stuff without consequence, and lower status people taking pride in their cleanliness as it was instilled in them. I'm generalizing but still yo.
