Lindsay "Duke" O'Connor unexpecetly passed away nearly a year ago.  For 15 years, I watched his rain ansd ASMR videos.  I still do.  Duke, you are sorely missed.   His niece is keeping his channel alive, and I always come here.  His niece is so blessed and dedicated to keeping TexasHighDef going.  Love the rain, the truck road-trips with Duke into hurricanes, shots of his backyard and carport during storms, Austin,  Texas, etc, etc..  Then there was one ASMR vid that Duke "changed up":  cooking 5 pounds of bacon!   I loved that one.
I don't know your name, I'll just address you as  the Duke Niece:  Keep this alive and God Bless.

something about driving in the rain is soo relaxing

This is why I prefer rainy days over sunny days and yet no one understands why

This video makes me comfortable. No traffic noise, no navigation's annoying voice. Thank you. From South Korea...

this reminds me of travelling as little kid with my dad driving, coming home from my gran ma's on the holidays and being all snuggle up in blanket in the back seat. I love the sound of the rain and your videos have given me hours of peaceful , relaxed sleep. Thank you.

Love it I'm in the back seat with a warm blanket .

It makes a big difference that this is a night drive. Reminds me some of long drives on interstates, as a passenger. Very relaxing.

I watch this nightly but I never really looked at . So I watched and started getting home sick  when I saw the Texas highway. Miss You Yellow Rose 😘

Now I have finally fully understood what ASMR means. It turns out I am an ASMR person.

nothing can compare to sitting in the back sit with a warm blanket, when it’s nighttime and it’s raining and no one is talking and you can just slightly hear the radio

Holy hell... I've found my niche. I never understood ASMR or the sleep sounds thing till now. This is great.

I live in Washington State,  moved here from the Midwest the one thing I really miss is the heavy down pours.  We have rain but it's more like a steady soft rain.  I miss the rain like this,  I love driving in the rain.

If you're reading this, I hope that day comes real soon where your wildest dreams come true. Where you finally feel that you are at peace with yourself and your surroundings. May your life be full of joy, strength, light, and ease. May you lead a life full of positivity and greatness. You got this. It's gonna get better real soon!!

I personally hate driving in the rain at night, but it's relaxing when someone else does it.

This video has helped me more than you'll ever know

Thank God finally something that I'm sure isn't AI at least

gives me a shiver in my backbone,  hmmmmmm brrrr cold

I’ve used this video to fall asleep for years now. It’s so comforting.

Your parents driving home as you fall asleep in the back seat.
