I have mastered henna and Indigo on my type 4 hair. I do a full henna and Indigo treatment twice a year with touch ups on my greys on my edges every 5 weeks. I've gotten it down to a science, jet black hair after henna for 1-2 hours and Indigo for 2 hours. I leave my henna overnight. Sometimes it's leftovers from the freezer. I dont shampoo after henna. I do shampoo after the Indigo. I also deep condition my hair after Indigo. Perfect everytime. Indigo was a struggle for years for me. Never colored well. I cracked the code for me. I mix the Indigo with water only immediately before applying. I allow the dye release to happen on my hair NOT the bowl. Deep dark black in 2 hours or less. Minimal fading.

I am hesitant to use henna; because, I don't want the reddish tone in my hair. I have type 4 fine thin hair with a few gray strands. I love Henna Sooq products especially the Cassia and neem shampoo ❤!

Thank you for the video! But how do you detangle after shampooing without conditioner or something that will cause slip before applying the henna dye?

I do use Henna Sooq's cowash after dying my hair with henna. It does soften up my hair but it just doesn't seem like enough conditioning. Do you think I could condition with the Cocoveda Hair Masque to help soften and condition my hair without affecting the hair color?

AoA khadija, can you do a video about hydrating herbs/ blend for low prosity hair .i ve type 1A hair n ve struggled throughout my life for length retention due to dry breakage prone hair.confused if masks should be weekly or monthly .n also herbs that increase speed of growth especially baby hair .since I’m in Asia , can’t have your products n have to benefit from your great knowledge n experience of all herbs that are easily available to us in raw/ crude / pure form .

So I know you say 3 to 4 hours which is what I do for the dye release. But you also recommend freezing leftovers. My question is with it sitting in the freezer until next use, which for me is usually 8 weeks later does that effect the color effect since it's been sitting all those weeks? I must say most times I have to make another batch to have enough for my whole head and usually mix the old batch with the new batch. Although there have been times I'm just doing a touch up so the leftovers is usually enough. I haven't noticed any less of a color effect but thought I'd ask this question.

I have a type 4c hair just like this lady’s
Low density .thin and very prone to breakage and tangle

I just learnt about dying hair with henna. And I bought the natural brown colour and I've tried it on like twice now, but I didn't see any result except it made my hair softer.
Is there anywhere I'm getting it wrong?
Please guide me on what to buy or do.
