For one thing REFFERIES has got to be held accountable for the blatantly missed calls with no reviews. It's flicking obvious on replay.

CC brought me in, and I've come to like and appreciate many players throughout the league, plus I've become a Pacers and women Hawkeyes fan. But, after last night's game, I've lost all interest in watching or caring about the playoffs. The crooked refs and the animosity of folks like Aja, Jackie and Chelsea is a real turnoff.

I want to know Why are there no replays of the fouls that the fever or Aces made or didn't.  I know why, it's because the WNBA doesn't want to show how piss poor and biased that the refs are.  With last night's game, there would be a foul and then instead of showing a replay of the foul, they instead would go back to the last offensive play.  Check it out.  It's insane

The next WNBA commissioner must enforce the rules!

The first thing they need to do is fire every single referee

Aja did the not delayed/denied statement and put a target on Caitlin's back  from the get go and the mob has been after her from them until now.

The consistency with the referees needs to be addressed as well.

THE  ONLY  THING  THAT MATTERS   IS   THEY   GET    GOOD AND FAIR    REFS     FOR ALL  THE   TEAMS

Caitlin get a NEW agent

They are going start bleeding fans if they do not clean up the officiating! Real basketball fans do not want to watch games that seem fixed, and that is how it seems watching games like last night when the officiating is so obviously biased.

First thing, get rid of all the referees. Institute some kind of replay apparatus. Hire and train and do thorough mental evaluations for new referees. Concentrate solely on basketball

The league was not prepared for the expectations of American sports fans and how they consume professional sports. Everybody knows there's sniping and vitriol and hatred. Fans are fanatics.  It's just part of the landscape of sports. But for some reason the W reacted with "Oh the humanity." For the love of God It blows me away that people got so upset about a finger point.  Let us pray those people never go to an Eagles game wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey when people throw cups full of urine at them. See where I'm going with this? The W lived in a 25 year cocoon when suddenly the spotlight landed on them and they froze, paralyzed with fear, anger and resenment.  I'm convinced many W fans would prefer to go back to the middle seat in coach.  Everything was much more comfortable in those days wasn't it?

She needs a good agent

Robin.  Most players in the W are unlikable.  Aja is a perfect example and she's who they push as the face. Most get turned off hearing so much of their agenda and victim narratives.  CC fans fell in love with her exciting game style, record scoring, goofy personality, her classy persona, carisma. And engagement with her fans. She's the perfect storm. The W can't tell fans who to support or dislike. Fandom comes organically

They rep Methanie WHite too ... Clark needs a new agent and this is worrisome to me... NOBODY IN THE CURRENT AGENDA POOL... OUTSIDER.  BUSINESSMAN WITH SOME SENSE.  Sooooo much to fix, and it is overwhelming... needs a tough hard worker... Rules, agendas, Refs, Coaching staff, on and off court behavior... the laundry list is long but the right person can help turn it around.

Her agent sus to begin with

After seeing what Caitlin’s shoes (the amazing colors) look like, I know understand why it took time to release them! They’re freaking amazing 🤩 I’m not a Nike fan but I am going to have to get me at least 2 pairs.. I absolutely love them. The players who had theirs released before Caitlin’s have to have their tongues hanging out and their eyes are dark green in jealousy!! Congratulations Caitlin, it’s been worth the wait!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻

I like how you suggested that fans who watch the WNBA only for Caitlin Clark came to the league in "bad faith".
😂😂😂
That aggression towards those fans is part of the problem.   Caitlin Clark entering the league somehow gave some people the foolish bravery to think they should be shaming CC fans for being CC fans and thinking that all of a sudden people's fandoms should be governed and stigmatized.

CC cant trust her agent, its apparent. The next commissioner must be able to solve the last decades issues as well as lay a united framework for positive play and pay.

Those of us that became interested in women’s basketball through Caitlin (I’m a top level athlete in two sports) are only interested in Caitlin and it has remained that way because of the bafoonery in this league.

Each sport has its own unique internal structure, politics, and hierarchy. So having some context for how other sports operate beyond women’s basketball means when the WNBA has to make up rules and locations on the court in hindsight to appease a situation…

It looks like a sport that can’t follow its own rules.

As a fan we are supposed to be able to trust that what we will see will be good basketball, that’s the promise of the sport. Everyone follows one set of rules and may the best team of women win (although according to them their team couldn’t determine what women means in). WNBA has lost its integrity over a series of bad decisions but it was this one move that proved this league has a different set of rules for everyone.

That being said it’s not a true sport anymore, it just becomes reality scripeted television.

Feels like in all the years they spent defending their sport against being the butt of all the world’s sports jokes they only practiced the defending verbally off the court.

The person selected for the Comissioner role will make a statement about the intentions of the league going forward.

Will the sport choose to actually focus on the basketball part?
