Before you comment that Nidoran should have been my first catch. Please, just look for yourself (Gen 3 is FireRed): https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Kanto_Route_22

Getting Pikachu to level 19 and on the edge of level 20 so then you can get slam for Brock's Onix was a cool solution for not having enough pp on quick attack.

I am so glad this wasn't a Nuzlocke. We need more variety of Pokémon playthrough videos than just Nuzlockes. Teams with themes are much more interesting to me.

I didn’t know about the 16 different evolutions with stones. I’m so glad you mentioned that. Great video.

Nidoran would technically be your first mon to catch. Considering it is encounterable before viridian forest

Lowkey glad to find another channel that uses the same kind of layout. I know like Alnterboy and others are good but there humor is just off to me. This guy is just enjoyable to watch with no cheap and corny jokes.

I'm so accustomed to nuzlockes that this just seems trivially easy. Still a good clip tho, enjoyed it.

Female nidoran . Hit nidorina at the 16th level.

Level 6 more levels and you hit 22. Use your moonstone at 22 and after it evolves into Nidoqueen you learn body slam and can take down lots of stuff.

Nidoking gets Thrash which is obviously stronger but with the drawback of getting confused.

Nidoqueen is slower with less attack making it not ideal for a solo or speedrun but hey play how you want.

I love Nidoqueen. She’s a nice tank with the right nature and if you decide to do some speed EV training she will be faster anyway.

I always ev train a split of hp def and spdef though. Speed doesn’t bother me too much.

Oh yeah nidoking learns horn drill naturally which is dope. He is still the badass. Love the queen though.

Edit: liked and subbed.

I didn’t think you could do it with these group of Pokémon congratulations

Clefairy is a Fairy type now. He can beat Dragon types, but in the games before X&Y it is Normal... 😭

Yes. Not just the usual “all of these are yes” but Nidoran exists. So very yes.

Nice concept but Clefable and Vileplume were the only unique ones you had. The others are there in generic teams too. But I'd say that's the game's limitation, not yours. Good work. It was fun to watch.
