Tears are rolling down my cheeks. We re all getting old and the world We know is slowly gone. Please preserve all good we achieved over past century and learn from massive mistakes we all contributed to. Music is essential part of our generation and our heritage. RIP John Lord. Thank You all of Ya.

Everyone who reads this, we don't know each other and probably never will but I wish you all the best in life and all the luck in the world

a historical moment, for any DP fan (and more)

I needed this.  I think we all needed this.

How can anyone not watch this and get chills? The emotion- too great for words. Tears flowing especially at the end with Gillan saying those lovely words about the amazing Blackmore! Legends, all of them. Thank you to DP for giving us this incredibly touching moment.

Ritchie Blackmore must be remembered as one of the most extraordinary guitarist of th rock world. He was the soul of Deep Purple. This return on stage with some of his old mates is fantastic. Thank you Ritchie - Respect!

I'm not crying. It's all that smoke on the water, it's getting to my eyes.

Thank you Ritchie for the music you gave to the world. Love you 🙏🏻🎸❤️

This is the best thing to happen in 2026. Never thought I would hear them play together again. Wow!

Ritchie Blackmore invented these legendary riffs. Without him, there would be no Deep Purple in this form. This reunion on stage is a real thank you for all the great moments this band created. No matter the past drama: Today, the legacy is being celebrated – and that’s it.

The way Ritchie Blackmore appears like a Dark Lord from the smoke feels mystical and legendary. it's like Deep Purple's spirit was born again.

Wow...my heart dropped seeing Ritchie and Gillan like that...wow..this is the best ever for me for a long time....wow..

I can’t you how huge the smile on my face is right now! When kids of today ask you what music influenced you when you were growing up and they scowl when you say Deep Purple show them this!

I was depressed today but when I saw the video of the reunion..Everything seems okay now and my mood was positive! Thank Ritchie and Deep Purple.

If you're ever feeling down remember we live in an age where this song is accessible in a second, for free, forever.

I'm so glad they made peace and Ritchie could get the closure he wanted ❤️

I wish my brother Richie would’ve been able to see this video who unfortunately passed away on March 2, 2026.

He was around 13 years old and I was around 9 years old when he and I first heard the Deep Purple album Machine Head in 1972.
We both were overwhelmed to say the least with what we were hearing coming out of the speakers on a big wood console TV that had a record player and AM/FM radio.

He had already started playing drums🥁and I just began learning to play electric guitar🎸at this time.

This album inspired us to really work hard and practice every chance we could.

We ended up developing into successful lifelong musicians that played multiple instruments in our own bands and in many local bands throughout the years where we played pretty much every song on that Machine Head album many times throughout our musical careers.

I want to thank the original members of Deep Purple and the many other classic rock bands from the 60s, 70s and 80s for inspiring a couple young boys to work hard and never give up on their dreams.

RIP John Lord and my big brother Richie.

When Ritchie held Ian's hand and let him tap the guitar. A great moment. Legendary. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not too shabby for an 81 year-old 🙏🏻❤️
