I keep hearing Marcus Veyne stories where the weird part isn’t that the ex eventually reaches out. It’s how differently she reacts once she realizes the same guy who used to chase her genuinely doesn’t need the outcome anymore.

From a woman who has been married for 19 years to your average joe that had a minimum wage cage job, wasn’t like 6’8” or whatever and I found attractive but isn’t some actor Hollywood all looks type of guy, here’s my unsolicited advice…
I was with a guy who did all this shit this vid recommends when I was younger. I was definitely hooked. It was also a toxic fuckin relationship that left me mentally scarred and he committed suicide. I’m not blaming this approach for that part, but what he did to me was emotionally abusive. Some of these “techniques” are just abuse. You might think that it’s worth it to have the partner you want, but it’s not fulfilling. She won’t be with you out of love, respect, and loyalty. She will be with you because she bonded to you thinking that you are all she deserved. She won’t remain the person that you wanted in the first place. She will become a hollow shell. A zombie with no personality of her own. I’m sure that’s even more appealing to some, but I hope that most people are hoping to have a deep relationship based on mutual love, desire, respect, attraction, etc.
I feel like there are so many men now who think that they have to make a certain amount of money, have to be a certain height, have to have a perfect jawline, all these superficial qualities to get a woman. If you’re looking for a superficial woman then that’s probably true.
There are many women out there (men too) who are looking for someone who sees them and shares their passions. They fall in love with their minds, their kindness and their bitterness on the bad days. What’s so rare now is a person who is real. The person who doesn’t need manipulation and craves a connection that doesn’t rely on abuse. Have a deeper conversation. Show what you’re passionate about and be real. Be honest. Be trustworthy. Have empathy without sacrificing yourself. You don’t have to be a master manipulator or a doormat. There is a different path that allows for a connection and intimacy that allows you to crave each other and feel complete and comfortable being yourself with each other.
If a woman has some kind of rule that you have to make X amount of money or be at least however tall and she puts those types of superficial stupid standards above everything else, literally just keep walking. You are worth more than some uppity trash person.
While i dont disagree with the techniques he’s talking about, they do work. The vast majority will only work on needy insecure neurotic people who don’t understand their own psyche of emotional needs. If you try these with a stable secure person who truly knows themselves sure it might work for a little while. But they will see through the veil of complexity for what it is pretty quickly and what it is Sociopathic narcissism.
