Finished the season today. The episodes just keep getting better! You think one thing, and the next episode disproves it. You start to feel sympathy, and it turns to rage in 10min then back to sympathy. You feel the trauma building, and the details of what the modern world is like and how it sets up for chaos is brilliantly done ❤

4 things.
1 I’m honestly LOVING and LIVING for the way that they kept the format from the book.
2 I’m absolutely in love with the way Mike’s handling the aesthetic of the book and mixing it with his own.
3 The modernization works very well. Dare I say, more so than the 2013 movie?
4 AS AN INDIGENOUS PERSON I AM IN LOVE WITH THE FACT THAT AMBER MIDTHUNDER AND JOEL OULETTE ARE MAIN CAST

I watched the entire season in one sitting!! It’s just that good 😭😭💕💖

Carrie is so sweet. It’s heartbreaking to see that sweetness disappear as the show goes on 😭

In Mike Flanagan we trust! I'm obsessed with this series ❤

I'm so impressed by Summer Howell. She's doing a great job as Carrie.

Weirdly enough Margaret is actually right in that active shooter drills don’t actually help and tend to cause psychological harm. If it was a calm lockdown procedure then yes but the way they did it in the show is definitely not right.

Mike Flanagan is coming out with The Exorcist: Martyrs, due on March 2027.

I watched all 8 episodes! Fantastic stuff but I had HAD to see both of your reactions!!

Watching this as a Canadian who's been out of school for 15 years is already terrifying. Having to be scanned when you enter the school, shooter drills?? I can't even imagine. I'm really happy that this series is more like the book!

Summer reminds me so much of someone from high school I knew 🥺 makes the series hit that much closer to home.

The way the rock rain FINALLY got the right format and effects it deserved was enough for me to sign on for the whole season

I’m loving getting to see how y’all like this. Saw the premiere thumbnail pop up on my Prime this morning and I clicked SO fast. This episode was a total banger. Absolutely excited for the rest, and if it were not for the need to be responsible and work, I’d be more than halfway through already. Can’t wait to devour the rest tonight.

There's literally nobody else in Flanagan's arsenal who I could imagine as Margaret White. The perfect casting.

y'all this was excellent! Loved Sue's scene at the end! Great ending for the first episode.
Also, I am meeting Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ullrich on FRIDAY at NY COMIC CON!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was too good, the movie scared me as a kid and never watched it again 😅 so this was surprisingly amazing and I love yalls reactions. ❤

I gave a fist pump alone in my house when I saw this thumbnail LMFAO. I was a bit skeptical about this version at first, but I would trust Mike Flanagan with my car keys. The man knows his horror material and he especially knows Stephen King, so I'm excited to start watching.
