I cried myself to sleep after we lost to the saints in that NFC championship game

Should have been Vikings vs Colts in the 2010 Super Bowl. Crazy to think we would  have seen Farve,AP,Percy Harvin,Jared Allen,Peyton,Dwight Freeney and Mathis in a Super Bowl.

We got robbed in that nfc championship game

Man this Vikings team was special amd exciting. Peak NFL was 1989-1994 and the 2nd peak NFL was 2007-2013.

Brad Childress may have been the worst coach in football. This team was off the charts talented, could have beaten the Colts by three touchdowns.

I was in 7th grade watching this with my dad and vikings lost by a field goal 😭 now I'm 25 and still waiting for a super bowl win

It's crazy how even though there was the scandal and 6 turnovers we still ended up losing by only 3 points and would have won if Favre just threw it away or kept it

I'm a Bears fan but I do have an admiration for the Vikings. They are well-run and respected as a team and never show themselves up after they win a game - they just do their jobs and show up as gentlemen. But losing critical games can be quite sad especially during the playoffs and in games in which they try to make the playoffs - witness the last second win at Arizona in 2003 as Cardinals reciever Nate Poole broke the Vikings' hearts. But fortunately the Vikings are not the Browns or the Lions or the Bengals or the Jets. They seemingly pick themselves up after a tough defeat and perform admirably as a quality football team should.

now I remember why I don’t mind New Orleans losing those close games in controversial moments.
