Hwoarang feels like a character where the person on the receiving end has to work and focus more than the guy just pressing buttons

Now that you say it, it all makes sense. Nerf Devil Jin

this character gets downplayed to the moon and back

We boutta get that Kwiss and FightingGM reaction video in the same week

Did we mention, that he has a full throw game too? :(

You forgot to mention the throw game Hwoarang has. You're trying to figure out how to deal with his endless combos, and outta nowhere he throws you. He has so many of them.

40 years man wtf, you look so much younger

Thanks for this Hwoarang tutorial

I genuinely thought I was just a fujin scrub, I’m glad other people are just as annoyed as I am.

Advancing, low crush, homing mid being +1 is stupidly broken

Hwoarang is the king of legacy  privilege.

The hworangs mains are pissed 😭

Hwoarang has insane recovery speed, its difficult to even sidestep punish him

This is ironically the best Hwoarang pressure tutorial I've seen on YT

I can play ok vs hwoarang but the sheer amount of effort I had to put in to defend vs hwoarang half decently was absurd. Learning every situation to sidestep duck, sidestep block, full crouch attack instead of ws punish, deek jabs, parries. You need to utilise your entire kit to just defend vs him and the sheer mental stack on his entire kit is exhausting because there's so much to remember and execute. Edit: forgot to mention, if you're a smidge too late the recovery is so quick he'll power crush you where any other character would be launched/punished.

"My flappy comes out at 9 frames"_  TMM 2025

Ive seen hwo mains in kishin that are sooo bad and literally just pressing buttons the character is straight shenanigans. I could only imagine fighting one thats good im scared at just the thought of

when i play against him i cant even understand why im getting beaten. With most characters i can see my mistakes and how they take advantage of me. But with Hwoarang things just happening and i cant even rflect on my mistakes, because it seems like he has no rules to follow.

Hearing my main is overpowered and I cant even use him properly is heartbreaking😂

We finally got the hwoarang diss track
