Love the animation! Very helpful to understand. Please do a video on relays.
How this setup makes the yellow lamp to glow?

I often think how the signalling works, and now I have seen the complex systems behind that.

I retired 35 years as a railroader. The concept is simple. The key to signal blocking is the insulated track joint. The train wheel is the connection when it passes from one rail to the next. As the train leaves one block it drops the next block indicating a occupied track. When we worked on a track, a shunt would drop the circuit not allowing traffic to enter. This protects the track workers. An additional flag was applied on each end of the work area. Finally, the control tower board would reflect the occupied work area.

I worked in a cubicle for a few years setting up PTC for a company. Would love if you had stuff with some of the signal program logic etc. too. This video was very informative.❤
