NOTE - unfortunately I had to remove a piece of audio at the beginning of this video.. nothing I can do about it. So thats why its quiet.
I think this is the second longest vid on 40K I've done inside of the Emperor of Man. If you have suggestions - and it doesn't have to be 40K - put them down below.
>Amend - when I say the Imperium was secular, this is of course totally wrong. I should have said antitheism. No idea why that got frazzled in my head.
Note: Also one thing that is triggering me lol at about 50:00 I am talking about Virus bombs. I didn't word it well enough what I mean is that in general during the Heresy virus bombs inflicted a lot of casualties - not just in this one specific instance.

Anyone can understand the Cult Mechanicus when you really need your car to start or computer unfreeze and you begin praying.

The Emperor could repair machinery with a single touch, or he knew that you turn a machine on by hitting the on button rather than praying to it and slathering it with incense and "holy" oil.

The urge to replace my brain with a superior mechanical cogitator intensifies.

As an engineer I often now find myself exclaiming “praise the omnisiah!” when my code finally works correctly or when some machine hardware suddenly starts working with seemingly no change to it 😂

Washing machine breaks
BY THE EMPEROR!
Throws oil and incense at the vile beast and starts praying viciously

I think it's kind of funny how during the Heresy Mars was in such a cluster f*ck state that even the Astartes backed off.

People say the Warhammer 40k universe is overpowered. Let me tell you this...

You can't be overpowered if everyone is overpowered

Dishwasher not working properly? Light some incense, start praying.

The artwork for the universe of Warhammer 40K is truly breathtaking. Every piece of artwork has astonishing amounts of details put in.

Adeptus Priest: "Thou shalt apply the consecrated oils in a forward and backward motion, across the fouled mouth of the holy rifle of Penetraticus."

Timeshifted 21st century man: "You mean oil the barrel of my rifle???'

Adeptus Priest: 'Heretic!'

Commissar: Bolt pistol to the back of the head

Nerds of Mars. Even the Emperor knew their power.

-AI is evil and should be banned.
-Ok let's name it maschine spirit and venerate it instead.

My boyfriend grew up with this series. I would never play the game but the story sounded great. Being a researcher, I immediately went to YouTube and searched as many 40k lore videos to explain it. Out of all the ones I watched, Leutin's were the best I'd seen. The intro, graphics, details and voice were amazing and I was hooked. Now, my boyfriend and I have conversations about the characters. I agree with another post, you should be part of writing a 40k series. Seriously though, well done.

I often imagine Adeptus Mechanicus like one sings lines from user manual in way of a monastic choir and others do that.

Applied holy oils to my tv which did not work. Chants to the Omnissiah did not work. Universal remote...done

"Okay, so this Emperor guy comes along and claims he will respect our religion and our autonomy, but I don't trust him because he's an atheist. Now his son, who is clearly in service to some pantheon of dark gods, which goes against my belief in a single Machine God, is staging a coup and making the exact same promises as his father.
Yeah, I can totally trust him."

... I'msorrywhat?

I don't even play this shit but these videos are so good. It's insane how in-depth and broad the lore is, I love hearing about the history of this universe.
