This visual trend has been around for some time, and I don't think it's peaked yet. It can/cant be easy to imitate, and that's exactly what makes it interesting. Visually, it's a huge step forward compared to the content we've been flooded with. It offers a refreshing alternative to low-effort TikTok videos, pushing creators to think cinematically, experiment with storytelling, and invest more time into their craft. When creating something takes real effort, fewer meaningless videos make their way onto YouTube—and I think that's a good thing.

Excellent video. Very educational and easy to understand.

Action makes still shot feel alive. Camera movement isn't disturbing the viewer. He forgets about camera and concentrates on action in frame. In my youth older cameraman's teached me, that if I want to make a movement with camera I have to think first, what I want to show and why I choose this method to show what I want. Why I choose to follow with camera in hands, why to make a panorama shot, why zoom in or out etc, because every solution should be reasonable, otherwise viewer will feel disturbed and unnecessary action can ruin all report.  They told me, that working with camera is not about my ego and not about what I can do with the camera, but about what's inside the frame. They told, that more dynamics can be when the content is lean, but less when it is rich with action and details by itself. So basically, you are just returning to old proven standards when the content just makes some sense  :)

Thanks for sharing these tips! I want to dive back into documenting my life so I really feel still shots are the way to go. Takes out a lot of the pressure with having to stabilise the camera when moving, especially since I don’t have a gimbal
