So glad you are finding joy in your life again! Best wishes!

You and Norm were so instrumental in helping us make plans for downsizing, renting an apartment, and traveling. Your influence was powerful. Now, you are influencing others who are walking the same path and those of us who may have to face being alone after years of wonderful partnerships.  I have talked about you so much that my husband would say, “what do your Canadian friends say about …?” Sending love and encouragement to you, Tina. 🩵

Losing a loved one is difficult. Losing a spouse is life changing. The passing of time and a positive attitude helps eventually. You have what it takes. Bravo!

Great reminder to me to keep planning with the expectation of happy memories being formed during the time between now and the day the plan becomes real. My wife died on 16th April 2026 so I'm really missing her. But ive started planning a car camping road trip. My wife and I camped for over 30 years with young children. Now I'm hoping to regenerate the feelings of joy we had together.  Thanks for being there Tina from New Zealand.

What a role model you are.

I'm so glad to see you smiling!!!

I used to watch you and Norm perhaps 5 years ago.  3 years ago I lost my husband and I haven't been back to your site until today.
I am so sorry that you lost Norm but at the same time very happy to see that you are doing what you want to or need to do.  Life goes on.

You are a beautiful person, Tina, and it's so good to see you smiling again. Sending lots of love xxx

I am 70 years old and widowed for almost 15 months now. I had a wonderful grief counselor. I told her things that I was missing and she encouraged me to find a way to bring them into my life. Starting down those paths without my wife was a real adventure each time. It was hard at first, and I took very small steps, with the first being attending a free lecture put on by our local University history department. I remember it was so nice to get out and do something not related to grieving. And over time trying things became easier. Looking for companionship from an adult human female who was not a family member or spouse of a friend, I eventually entered the on line dating field. I am now seeing a widower. I am enjoying the adventure of courtship. Each day I look forward to seeing how our relationship develops.

Well said and great reminder! All the plans, big or small, if they bring you joy, are what life’s all about❣️

Yes, when my husband passed away, I decided that as of now I need to live for two, build new mementoes and create new plans. I am happy to be on my own (he passed 13 years ago) but I am looking forward to meeting a good companion and spend time together.

Good to see you, Tina! You radiate love and calmness. ❤

it warms my heart to see that smile return

Wise advice. Everyone needs to have plans to look forward to irrespective of whether they are grieving or not.

I really enjoy your videos and you sharing your personal experiences with us.  Life does go on after a loss, and you are so right that we need to experience new adventures.  Yes, Norm would want you to explore, learn and smile.

I've got a Blackberry bush adventure in my backyard... you never know what's just outside.

Isn’t it amazing that out of a terrible loss, you have found a new purpose, encouraging others and giving hope? Life is full of unexpected adventures!

I love hearing Norm's kind voice again on video..Maybe you can let us hear his voice again on some of his videos from the past. Tears come up again. I don't travel anymore a senior, but I love hearing & seeing your new travel journeys..Thank you for sharing new adventures 😀
