No world wars, not no wars.

0:57 "The United Kingdom of Ireland, and... Ireland" 😆

No wars. Just a bunch of countries not talking to one another.

United States of Austria are shortened also as USA. That's gonna be funny for diplomacy.

I doubt that's what the world would look like with no World Wars. Smaller regional conflicts would still have caused the weakening of certain nations at the expense of others, even if a massive world conflict never occured directly.

1:00 It’s pretty obvious that if a region hasn't changed much, the creator probably just didn't know enough about its history to imagine an alternative.

I do gotta say Dominion means a self-governing realm under the crown of the shared British monarch.

So basically, while say... Sudan has preferential trade and probably respects British opinions, they likely make most of their own internal decisions. Probably the only way they COULD keep control via doing that.

Irl Canada and New Zealand's official names ARE the Dominion of Canada or New Zealand, to show you Dominion doesn't mean British total control or any at all. I do imagine Dominion still means more of British control here, since no world war at all means Britain is better off economically, but I don't see Britain being in as much as control because the whole point of dominion means self-governance.

why did bro like his own video

I doubt that Saudi Arabia wouldn’t exist in the universe of the first map, since the Saudis had the advantage against the Hashemites family, they even conquered the Hejaz from them in our world

3:07 thats the Empire of China from 1915-1916, not really Qing, the leader declared a Monarchy and then turned it back into a Republic after southern cliques rebelled

10:37 they would probably like it in the beginning but then they would realise they would have less justification in attacking them

Petition for Drew to make Hungary countryball plushie (day 756)

Been years since I last watched and I just now found your channel again

Dominion means the British Monarch is the head of state, it doesn't automatically mean its ruled by Europeans

Wait, so you are saying that the war to end all wars could have avoided all wars if we had avoided the war to end all wars?

15:26 China is Hanmaxxing the moment we speak

In another life, world wars doesnt exist.. no ww1 and ww2.. i have an idea about it-

5:08 a Bosnian Serb shot Franz Ferdinand and started WW1, not a German.

9:32 Wait a secound did you actually say it right. The patrion subscriber can finally rest

Correction Drew! The Suez Canal isn’t actually the first canal that was built there.
The Egyptians built a canal that linked up to the Nile, called the Canal of the Pharaohs. It was active for MILLENNIA, including during Roman times. The map is still wrong, since it does seem to go via the then quite sandy Suez Canal rather than via the Nile, but it was 100% possible to sail a ship from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean via vaguely that route.
