Daniel Lara Farías, a Venezuelan communicator and writer exiled in Germany, spoke with DNews about the stark contradictions facing Venezuela after the events that began with the capture of Nicolás Maduro and the rapprochement between regime figures and Donald Trump.

During the analysis, he questioned the narrative of normalization and the so-called economic bubbles reported by international media following an oil summit in Caracas, where an unusual shortage of golf clubs for executives was reported, while the majority of the population faces blackouts of more than six hours a day and a lack of drinking water.

The analyst emphasized the disconnect between political discourse and electoral propaganda and the daily hardships of citizens, warning about the lack of a concrete technical plan for national reconstruction focused on energy infrastructure and the absence of official data on nutrition and services.

The institutional viability of a government transition led by opposition figures like María Corina Machado was also discussed, given the persistence of armed groups and dysfunctional ministries.
