In 1981 My Dad Retired From teaching and we Drove from Missouri to Bar Harbor and $5 lobsters and then boarded a Ferry to Dartmouth Nova Scotia and then drove home thru Quebec I’ll never forget that Trip in a 1962 Chevy truck that had a overhead Camper on it!

I spent 2- 4.5 month stints on an island in Northeast Harbor Maine. Greening Island which only one house had electricity. I had been refinishing a few houses there. What a time, I loved it
Only seafood that rated with it was when on Maui. Maine is a gold mine for seafood lovers. Best scallops I ever had

50 years ago I washed dishes for a summer at a bar harbor restaurant. I believe it was Testas. They were known for there lobster rolls. Thanks for the memories!!
