In this video, we begin our journey from Ticaco towards Candarave. Along the way, we stop at the beautiful Laguna Aricota, located about 20 kilometers before reaching the town.

Upon arriving in Candarave, the police stop us to warn us about the route we would be taking the next day, little imagining that their advice would prove so useful.

We explore the town, its main square, and some of its viewpoints, before continuing our journey towards Puno.

What we didn't know was that the road had one of the most breathtaking views of our entire trip through Peru in store for us.
