I'm a master in falling, when I was a child I used to fall so many times that I mastered this art by never have injured myself, the only damage to my body was some scrapes on the skin but nothing more. This is for me the best TIP ever, everyone should start by knowing how to land without majore injouries

Hi lino, been watching your vedios for a while now.. Im 35 yrs old, and a mom.. currently living in saudi arabia.. I'm learning a lot from you really .. I have now courage to rollerblades at the park but I'm broken hearted because of this boy that wanted to hit me of his scooter.. 😔😔 But i tell myself, nobody can stop me doing what I love
... ❤️❤️❤️ I wish we also have places to do rollerblading here..

I'm 65 yo and yesterday I start training for inline roller skating. First day I only trained to stand up on my own and stay still.
Today I gave baby steps to the end of my street and back. Than I started to get speed. Not too much but enough for fall. It was so fast. I watched this video before but I just hit my coccyx so quickly.... Very painful. Thank God I don't have osteoporosis. I didn't remember to turn to my side. Well, first day.... I didn't remember to keep my leg touching the front of the roller either. It would help to avoid the fall. I hope I learned by experiencing today and do not repeat. After the fall I felt insecure and went back home. Enough for today

this is totally wrong the first 3 things a blader needs to know is rocket fishbrain, 270 backside savannah and torque

When I started skating I watched few tutorials on stopping and decided to learn T stop first - in about 3 one hours sessions i burned a lot of rubber. So I would not recommend it beginners, unless you can afford to buy new set of wheels in about a month or two. Better start with good plow and more important - carving. T stop doesnt work in situation when you need to stop fast, its only good for slowing down.

I just picked up in-line skating with my 2 sons. All three of us are learning at the same time. Thank goodness you and a few other YouTubers are here to show us how it’s done! I’m learning a lot faster than I anticipated.

I bought a pair of skates a couple years ago. Unfortunately, I had a medical issue that caused weakness and balance issues and I couldn't do it. Fast forward 18 months after surgery and a lot of exercise and I am ready to try again. I have balance and strength! Thank you for your videos. I am sure that come spring, my dogs will love your videos even more!

Very good once again Mr Lino. I’ll have this skating sorted before I’m 68 😃

Ricardo, let me tell you...... after may last skate 25 years ago, YOU MADE ME try again this week. Got this week nearly new K2s -so different to these we used back then in 90s! Back to re-learn these forgotten skills. My teen daughter is far better then me! Thanks mate!

This is by far the best explanation of these skills I've heard.

When I first tried inline skating and plowed through a mailbox to make an emergency stop or risk hitting a vehicle, I learned very quickly to practice stopping. 😅

Falling backwards properly will probably take a LOT of practice. When it happens it happens suddenly, in a split second you are staring at the sky. To react properly it would have to come to you instinctively a reflex reaction cause man it happens fast!

I am 48, lol, i quad skate all over my town, you’re tips took my skate to a whole different level🌞 thank you 😊

thank you for your videos. I mostly like two things. The first one, is that all that you explain, is clear, an easy to understand. English is not muy firts language, and I catch, almost everything. The second is the passion you transmit. It is clear thar you love this sport, and can transmit it to others. Great.

I bought my first pair of skates (and second) recently after over a decade without them and your channel was a major influence! It’s been so much fun. Thank you for making great videos and showing how fun rollerblading could be!

sono un principiante italiano, e ho trovato la tua lezione interessantissima e utilissima.Complimenti!!

@stephenyeboah4955 3 years ago

Yes. I thought putting my weight on my toes will make me fall. It is rather more stable and you can easily regain your stance in case you stumble. Thanks.
