This game hasn't aged a day. It's crazy how hard we've hit the diminishing returns when it comes to video game graphics over the last decade. Compare that with the insane graphical leaps from 1985 to 1995, 1995 to 2005, and 2005 to 2015.

Now that fm8 is dead, they need to put the fm6 servers back up

The fact that this game's graphics were realistic enough to make a news agency genuinely believe a reverse limo drifting video and publish the news on national television was crazy.

Forza Motorsport 6 certainly got more “personality” than anything from FM7 and later have to offer.

unbelievable

i remember being hyped for this game's release all those years ago , seeing the new ford gt, watching ar12 vids, seeing the e3 2015 trailer which still gives me chills to this day

the fact that 10 years have passed since i first played this actually blows my mind right now. still probably my favourite motorsport game, even if i think motorsport 3 and 4 are better. i just have too much nostalgia for 6. its got a real soft spot in my heart unlike any other forza motorsport title. shame to see the series on such a decline ever since and it really breaks my heart to say that this is the peak of the series for me :(

rip Forza Motorsport.

14:10 one thing i miss desperately from FM6 and FH3 was the narrator telling you about the car or the manufacture of a car in the forzavista. I really really hope that Horizon 6 includes someone like Warren from Horizon 3 talking to you about each car

11:47 not sure if it’s just an editing mistake but Lime Rock Park is real 😂

Forza 6 was great! Not FM4 great, but great nonetheless. I still miss my VR37TT swapped Ford Escort Cosworth ❤️

4 is still my favorite, but this is a close second. The music is absolute peak. I absolutely love the soundtrack to this game. The feel of it brought me back to how 4 played too. Many many hours put into this game

Tanner Foust is a X Games Gold Medalist, Formula Drift & Global Rallycross champion and host of the American Top Gear.

My personal favorite Forza. Sold my Series X after all their BS and got a Switch 2 with that money, but I still got my Xbox One X so I can still play this awesome game.

Interesting, I've never heard anybody call FM6 boring or soulless in any area. FM6 is what I consider the peak of the series with FM3 and FM2 following.
Also, to show how good FM6 is - I didn't buy FM7 until it was already out for 3 years. 6 was just that good in my experience and to other players I know.

4 and 6 are peak race games

In my opinion, the best “modern” motorsport. Loved this game when it came out and still now. And the fallout car was an awesome addition to this game!
Best soundtrack next to FM4.

I actually remember this being my most played Forza Motorsport next to 4, I remember after the first race there was a roulette where you could win a Bugatti, which I managed to do, but I mainly drove a Nissan GTR Black Edition, and drove around Nordschleife, and I managed to beat a Lamborghini that was in third place, me at the time didn’t know lower end Lamborghini had almost the same performance as a R35 GTR, this was an interesting game to play, not being a huge fan of Motorsport this one lands in 2nd place of my favorite, 1st place being 4 (obviously)

8:15 Tanner Foust was the person that introduced the Stig on USA Top Gear at that time

That whole Top Gear bit down to the quotes straight from the show did not go unnoticed or under appreciated

In fact I'm actually very puzzled and surprised that, at least to my knowledge, no other racing game even attempted to poach the Legendary Trio as a cameo, if not for something more deeply involved like the car descriptions in Forza 4

I know obviously they kinda went their separate ways for a bit after Clarkson's termination by BBC, but surely they could still appear together for some car lore or friendly banter as a neat treat for the fans of motorsports and/or the series? It's not like BBC owns the rights to Jeremy, James and Richard in the "petrol head" role outside Top Gear itself, otherwise Grand Tour would've never happened (although they did try to sue Amazon once for copyright or whatever)

And Grand Tour also didn't really pop up anywhere except as some DLC cars, again without featuring the hosts themselves, outside its own original racing game from a few years ago. I guess Amazon was asking too high a dollar price for a collaboration effort

the timing can't be better, i was binging your fm and gt reviews this past few days, very high quality reviews, i hope turn 10 had the same consistency as you lol
