Also, the key bit is to make sure pure civs are on the invite list. So that the city feels super immersive at every point!!

I understand why 4.0 did what they did. But they listened to reddit streamers too much. Reddit complained about whitelists, they created a system where everyone was on equal playing field to earn something. People complained RP was getting too goofy, and praised buddha for talon/cerberus, so they designed many of the mechanics around that type of business/slowburn RP. People complained about not enough civs, so they made civ jobs pay more, and created jobs where you could sit around and RP and do those jobs, like snr buns, or sanitation. Now people are complaining it was terrible, and "discord calls". Nopixel needs to go back to their bread and butter. Content.

Max Angel, civilian gun dealer for the Faceless. Chatty has no idea 😂

"Actually play" 😂. Well Blau, I guess I'm not the only one saying it...

Blau saying someone who plays once a week for a year should be invited and a good roleplayer is insane.

When people speak in terms of a server being content focused versus RP focused all they are really talking about is how serious is the server. Essentially how serious are the consequences and how grounded in reality is it.

IMO NP 3.0 was a balance between content and RP, but 4.0 skewed more RP oriented with harsher consequences like debtors prison for example and goofier characters like James Randall feeling like they were being pushed out of the server.

1:16:49 yesssss HUGE vouch for Enevun - what a joy to watch. He's just so complementary to whatever storyline he's engaging in, would love to see him in NPV AND on RP podcast!

1:02:30 chatterbox being the most tuga ive ever seen him be.

One week out of the year is wild

I love every time Hockey comes up Dimoak's constant "NO, no, no, no" makes me laugh every time.

Koil's response will require eating a Koil Pizza

NGL first time watching this ... It's actually fire 🔥 content

I wish the phase 1 of np5.0 are more business-centric RP no crims jobs or gangs yet and has like real life balanced economy system. like if you work hard of your job so that you can purchase a nice quality clothes. not like clothes has same prices like 4.0. like other will see your outfits that they knew if your rich or not. like real life how you work hard to build you lifestyle. like you have your wardrobe collections.

The funhouse should be at the carnival, then building that place out not out of the middle of nowhere. They can add so much dev work around that place for events, and clowns to do their own thing to mess with people with house of mirrors etc. Like if they keep putting things so out of the way from each other RP to me will be boring or missed. You want to have a good balance and good enough walking distance to everything.

Give burn his own place up north, shit give him whole of paleto to write rp stories for much bigger events. He is literally the best at this.

Just 2 good examples nopixel.

What is this thumbnail???

ive seen comments on reddit, and have bought into the copium. NP V will have liberty city. Rockstar was working on a DLC to bring liberty city into GTA V, and was scrapped mid developement. Then around the announcement of 5.0, the big projects like "Liberty city preservation mod" for gta V were shut down by rockstar. Streamers not involved in GTA RP said things like its a very "big project" xqc said it was "massive" people wouldnt say that to the same GTA RP mechanics (press E to interact). Im convinced its coming.

The server would be dead for a year + if the people that were not on it every single day becuse there have been 0 updates for a year

Kinda weird that people who don't roleplay anymore get cards first

Fuslie got me watching rp

How to get an invite to 5.0? Play? The first 2 batches of invites proves that otherwise, most haven't played in a year. Kind of a f u to the people who suffered through 4.0 with no updates and kept nopixel alive by consistently playing. But hey, let's invite the streamers with the most viewers first to hype it back up.
