02-14-24 PSA: I've seen footage of the iron maiden skin and the weapon aesthetically, looks awesome, but functionally isn't great, id put it in the "difficult to use" category for the tier list ranking and the sad part is that the skin is a set, so you cant swap it out for "death to Bayshore"

03-12-24 P.S.: After the 7.6.0 All Things Wicked Chapter Update, Deathslinger's mangled addons aren't worth running, only lasting a minute, so sadly stay away from them too.

04-23-24 After update 7.7.0 ultimate weapon has been nerfed and can no longer be used in the build I recommend towards the end of the video.

It's honestly a crime that with a video this well made you have so few subscribers at the moment, I've already shared this to a couple of my friends.  Great video, brilliant explanations and I defo learnt a few things.  Thank you :)

Criminally underrated video, give this man more love!

I have to say, I wasn't expecting such a detailed explanation of every point and chapter, and the fact that the default redeemer is better that the literal recolors just like the other comment said blew my mind absolutely lmao 😭

Outstanding guide, partner. I'll gladly take this knowledge into practice and come back in a near future to lay down my thoughts and what I achieved. Much love ❤

3k views for a video this amazing is criminals. I don’t even play deathslinger but the way you presented the information so thoughtfully and thoroughly made me so invested, not even mentioning your extremely impressive gameplay. Earned a sub and many more views with this one.

Your ability to explain complex problems in ways that can be understood by anyone is amazing.  I've seen science documentaries fail at this.  The way you aim is quite inspiring compared to how jaggy mine can be and a lot of slinger mains.  I've been training on aim lab for a long time to do something similar so it's quite inspiring to see it executed so well.

41:46 "When the Fog took me I was small and alone until a man named Caleb became my protector"

People really say Slinger is bad in situations with multiple survivors. I love when they run around me it saves time because that means my realoading time isn't taking time away from the chase

Awesome work! It didn't even felt like watching a 45min long video because of how well you keep me interested: the narration, the chapters, your ability to make us  understand the complex physic of his spear power in a simple way. I always thought there was a lot of "luck" involved around his power with like ping or hitbox issues but there is clearly a way to get consistant hits with the Redeemer by following your footages and explanations.
All i need now is to put into practice, easier said than done hehe.

Them Fungs really do like being examples in these clips.

Great video though! Never knew about the weapon models having actual gameplay differences.

I always felt like I did better with the default rifle, but I didn't know the other ones were so out of whack. Wtf??? Just another thing to add to the list of broken stuff in this game. Anyways great vid!

The production value and direction of this is SO FUCKING GOOD!!! And the voiceover!!!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻 👏🏻 I honestly think anyone would find this entertaining even if they've never played DBD cause it's just so well done 🎉

Hello there gamer, I really enjoyed this guide for my favorite killer in the entirety of dbd it was very comprehensive, well put together and with a lot of info eaven I after playing slinger with many hudreds of hours learned something new but come one man don't use the wanted poster its really not that good (I had no idea about the sight changes on the diffrent guns and about the diffrent movement speed while reeling ty for spreading the Deathslinger knowledge onto the future slinger main generation The Deathslinger community thanks you)

Very solid guide. Didn't notice the horizontal sights, always used my muscle memory with him. Deathslinger is A tier killer if you grind your accuracy to be deadly.

Finally, a Slinger guide. This deserves to go viral.

Wonderful guide. Informative and detailed. Especially enjoyed the maths behind it all. I think the only difference between your play style and my own is that I tend to run a much more snowball build of: Starstruck + Agitation alongside Surge and No Way Out. Get the first down with Deathslinger's oppressive 1v1 potential, and carry the victim to other survivors to expose them and repeat the cycle. Very fun.

I am shocked to see the best guide out there, only 73 subs?! Your better than all others and the editing is well done

This is THE guide for deathslinger!

I genuinely feel an improvement with my gameplay when keeping this videos tips in mind.
Everything was explained very pedagogic and thorough, while still being entertaining and fun! Includes knowledge for both beginners and experienced.

Literally did not know that the deathslinger default skin is flatout superior to all his other gun skins. INCLUDING RECOLORS?!

I had to boot up the game and look myself. I thought some would have off-center scopes or the Iron Maiden skin scope would be ideal -- no way man!
If you literally equip the default gun and hover over a recolor - THE SAME SKIN but pink or blue - YOU CAN SEE THE SPEAR MOVE!!!

I could not believe it. This alone is such a gamebreaking fact and mandatory viewing for the sheer fact I am a deathslinger main over 3,181 survivors downed via the redeemer and did not know this! - (dbd stats, shockingly I found out I got 50,360 chainsaw downs with hillbilly! Wtf!)

Not only is this disappointing because other skins make gameplay inconsistent, it shows how forgotten and unmaintained Deathslinger has been since his ol' smackeroo! He needs a lot of quality of life updates and an Addon pass. Hell, I'd even love to see him get a chain buff to enable a stronger hit-to-down rate. Perhaps a 10% buff like the chain addon. (It also rewards hits, because connecting a shot does not = a hit or down.)

By far the best DBD video I have ever watched.
