This channel? Just one of my absolute favourites, and what a treasure trove at this spooky time of year. 🎃

Another banging video Sinead. Watching it while eating too much toast.

I've noticed a lot of recent books overexplain emotions, overexplain thoughts, overexplain what the reader should be taking away from a scene. There's so little subtext. It's all explained. I don't like it. I'd rather feel the emotions rather than be told what I should be feeling. It also annoys me.

And thank you for giving me a place to talk about my readers feelings! I love you channel. I've found a lot of horror books that I've loved because of you.

There's a part where Danny says something like "But I'm only five!" and it gets me every time. Please read Doctor Sleep too, it's the sequel. I liked it a lot. Good movie, too.

It's October, Sinead! 😊 It feels like Christmas but instead of reindeer and mistletoe we have ravens and nightshade. 😂 Your book reviews are always a highlight for the week and i look forward to what you have for us during the spooky month. Now to check out Fruit Fly! Stay spooky everyone!.👻

Literally thought i was the only horror fan who didn't enjoy Ghost Story or think it was scary.

I found this channel a few days ago. I can't get ENOUGH! ..."Entertaining, immediately drawn to her... wanted more after the last word spoken... insightful!... cliffhanger moments"... 5⭐️

I always had trouble explaining to people why I’m not impressed by Stephen King but I think that characterization, great storyteller/mediocre writer, puts it succinctly. He does have good stories, even if the endings are usually lackluster, I just hate his writing.

Ok, I haven’t watched this video yet because your ad for Bellesa had me laughing so damn hard I had to stop it to try and snap my friend (also a subscriber) to repeat the line, “We all know that sexual wellness is more than breasting-boobily into a room”. 😭 I could NOT stop laughing to spit it out. Took me two whole snaps to finally repeat it. Holy crap, when you get me with the giggles you really get me. 😂😭😂😭😂😭 Ok, on with the show.

36:53 “do put a boob in there.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I loved that critique.

Something for everyone in another wonderful video. I have to say, though, your rants about bad books are my favourite part. Found myself yelling YES out loud at your conjecture about The Influencer being AI generated....it soothes my petty heart to see bad writing be eviscerated! Mind you, you never eviscerate the author, for which I'm grateful. Thanks again for giving my TBR list a big boost.:_TinyCrow::_BigCrow:

Oh I'm so sad about Incarnate. It sounded like such an interesting premise. Plus I do love Dorian Gray so was even more intrigued. 😢
I hope October brings you tons of 5 star reads. Stay spooky

For baked cheese dishes, I think Funeral Potatoes are very much an America thing, so that's one you might not have tried. Assuming you don't care about "healthy" (which, I mean, baked cheese, so I assume not).

Last year I "discovered" the horror writer Owl Goingback. He's a native american and uses Indian folklore in his stories. I've read "Crota" and "Coyote rage" and am now collecting his other books.

Great craic - nice start for October ❤ Salem's Lot was King's best story. He said he outlined Dracula and used it as a guide for this one. The Shining is really good, too. I was reading his books as they came out pretty much and you can't really describe the King celebrity effect back then.
