How did you know I needed this video right now?

@joefawcett8140 8 months ago

Most of the courses I play don't have a range. I don't know what I'm working with until I play 3-4 holes 😂

I just found out why I can't break 80 after watching a video of my swing....and it was very simple I just suck at golf 😅

Great advice. I like the conservative target aggressive swing thinking.

many good points here!!! Personally I would add the old saying: "one shot at a time", helped me to shoot below 80.

The T-shot is crucial! Once you hit the fairway the wedge and put is easy. Job done

Bang on sir! My mental hang-up was chipping and putting. So....I spend a whole winter putting 100 balls a day indoor, muscle memorizing a consistant stroke, and practicing good contact on chipping into a net. I now have 100% confidence around the green (except maybe long double break putts lol) and actually broke par for the first time at the community course. Cheers!

I live on a golf course and have seen something this past year that I have never seen in the 20 years that I've lived here. What appears to be beginner golfers, guys in their teens and early 20's, were playing from the forward tees. And they did it week after week. Kudos to them. Most people play from the wrong set of tees because of ego. Try breaking 80 from the forward tees, Then move back a set. And so on. It's much more enjoyable to play from the correct tees!

Wait a minute, that wasn't a 7i chip. :) Great tips though. You changed my mental game.

My last 4 rounds were 82 83 83 & 82 I’m knocking on the door but no answer, yet

It would be so fun to see if you could help Bobby @Bobdoessports break 80. Its such a fun series and i think you're a great and practical teacher. ❤

My buddy has a seriously funky swing and putting set up. I’ve seen him shoot in the 70s at like all the hard local courses. Guy knows his game

Man the confidence factor is everything. I've played the game most of my life and I can't count how many times I have blown good rounds on the last couple of holes because I start thinking about what my score is going to be. Its down right embarrassing sometimes. I've broken 80 many times and had under par 9 hole rounds. But I almost always finish my rounds poorly when I have that excitement of shooting a good number in my mind, Good video.

Great stuff, lot of things we should think about before teeing off for every round. Looks like you’re at Streamsong, my wife and I play there every year, love that place!
