White, metallic gold, and bronze in one marbled resin tray? I wasn’t sure these colors would work together, but I’m so glad I gave them a try!
In this resin project, I’m making a tray with a matching stand and hearts around the outside edge. I start by brushing metallic gold onto the hearts, then marble the rest of the tray and stand using white, metallic gold, and bronze pigment paste. I wondered whether the metallic colors would clash, but the marbling came out beautifully.
Would you combine gold and bronze in the same resin project? Let me know in the comments!

Kelly, this is, without a doubt, one of the most gorgeous pieces I have seen!! This looks like an authentic piece of marble that is in a catalog for choosing a bathroom or kitchen counter top!! Or a pillar for a Roman Coliseum!! Seriously, this is exactly the look that everyone just gushes over!! It's so beautiful!! Subtle, yet truly there enough to see the marbling and the sparkle without it being so gawdy and in your face trying to look expensive!! I hope that makes sense!!
I am not a huge fan of metallics at all--I never have been!! And, I prefer silver over gold and bronze!! So, for me to give such a glowing review of something where both gold and bronze were used, you just passed with flying colors!! I honestly cringed when I saw the title of this video!! It seems like most of the channels I watch have been obsessed with using metallics this year!! Mostly with the ink drop technique that is just driving me insane!! That's all they seem to want to do, and I am afraid they might start losing viewers because there is just not the variety of pours and techniques because they are only doing the ink drop, which is getting old very fast!!!
Anyway, I applaud you for using just a small amount of the gold and bronze in this pour!! I love that you used white as your base color!! It's soft and delicate, which gives this piece such elegance and class!! This is just drop dead gorgeous, Kelly!!
God Bless and see you again soon!! Sending you lots of love and bunches of hugs!!🥰🤗💜🌹
GR8 Job friend!!
Btw I thought it was meant to be a pillar candle holder for table center piece!
