I like the feeling of life as ebb and flow while creating a work of art. My living creativity had slowed by my 79th birthday, so I was surprised by the accelerated flow when I began my 80th year. I began with adding many nutrients to my diet, and my creative abilities flipped into high gear for a solid year. I accomplished more in that year than in the preceding five years. Now that I’ve turned 80 I’ve found the strength foretold in the Jewish Mishnah, that we find our best strength when we turn 80. We really are the living mystery.
As I approach my 76 th birthday I’m looking forward to Cynthia’s new book on conscious aging. Her wisdom is so precious and needed. Thank you Cynthia. Blessings ✨♥️
I told J.G.Bennet I can’t remember to do self-remembering, and he said, “You need a mnemonic device.”. Took me awhile (50 years or so) but I finally did: When I notice that I’m having thoughts that I’ve had hundreds of times I self-remember.
Thank you for this Upcoming Book: Aging (Honest Aging) is a Topic which has not been covered well between Mothers and Daughters (and other Females also such as Aunts and Nieces) - and other individuals also such as in-laws and friends --
The idea of consenting to aging, seems very powerful........yes, and honoring the beauty of it. Finding the beauty of it....because there is great beauty in aging. Why would we be any less beautiful then that 200 year old oak?
