Can we actually save any money by shopping at these Dollar stores? Today I go to Dollar Tree and Family Dollar to see if there is any bargains or real money savings compared to the big supermarkets. Do you shop in these stores? Let me know what your thoughts are.

Love a good mooch around those kind of shops. Home bargains and B&M are my kind of shops. Never even heard of family dollar. Love the colour of that dress. ❤

Not sure I’ve been in family dollar but I’m a real fan of dollar tree when I come over………I stock up on gift bags, tissue paper and party supplies, bags for making gift baskets……I buy the hydrocortisone cream, psoriasis cream and lidocaine cream, candies and some food items. If you are staying in a villa you can get small packs of washing pods and the small dish soap and loo rolls as they are generally not provided. I always find it well worth a look, although some stores are better stocked than others

Dollar tree is great for seasonal decor! And you cant beat the price for the Hallmark cards.

Hi Katie and Zara..can't comment on the shops as I'm in NZ, BUT have to comment on the lovely blue shirt you had on...looked gorgeous. 💙🩵💙🩵

Years ago the drugstore items were much cheaper same goes for headache pills and vitamines but that changed in 2019/2020 I don't know why.
On my last vacation in 2023 I was shocked to see how much everything went up. I only buy those things when they are on sale (BOGO) at CVS or Walgreens and hopefully I have a coupon on top 😅
I have never been in a Family Dollar so it's nice to see what they have

New subscriber here, recognise that accent anywhere. Gotta be near Teesside. Love the fact that I've now got someone to do the legwork for when I come over lol

Oh wow very interesting! The stores look alot like some of the stores here in South Africa 😂 only difference there is WAY more in the store!❤😂
The blue shirt really brings your eyes out and I love how your hair shines today!❤

Happy birthday to Zara 🎉🎉🎉
I would say these stores were pretty good value.
Thank you for the vlog❤❤❤ Raid is my go to insect killer. If it works here you know it's good 😅

Enjoyed the shopping vlog ❤Which store had the friendliest staff? And how would you say the staff compare to places like Target or Walmart? 🤔🛍 x

We really enjoyed the vlog ❤. Only been in some dollar trees around Kissimmee, they were a bit messy and not very tidy. Family Tree looks like a very good alternative, did you check the prices for beer😂? Are they similar to Walmart? Hope your Mum and aunt arrived safely!

I’m with Zara on the Dr Pepper - I love it but haven’t seen any new flavours in the uk yet! 😢
What flavour was that one and did Zara like it?!? xx

As you mentioned, some items are really expensive compared to the U.K. Do the locals find those items expensive or are the wages pretty relative to the cost of goods over there?

Here in St Cloud FL, I can guarantee if I’m at work and track where the wife is she is in one of 3 places in this order..

1. Dollar Tree
2. Sam’s Club
3. Walmart
4. Dollar General
5. Aldi

She would camp out in dollar tree if she could😂

She’s a cheap Charlie.
