Making a knife grinding jig the easy way, thats easy to use and get consistent grinds every-time on both sides of the knife, I used 50mm aluminium angle as the base for my gig everything else you should find in a average DIY workshop. Outstanding. The simplest solutions create the finest results. As a beginning knife grinder this is huge and exponentially has increased my abilities. In fact I made this by first ordering a grinding jig off Amazon for $30 or so and added your most excellent adaptation.

Out of the 50+ other ideas I've seen online, this is by far the best, easiest, and to make for the guy/gal with simple hand tools. Cheers M8

I have a 70 Euro jig, but when i saw your video, i was thinking: owesome! Now i made one with two screws, so it doesn‘t wobble. Works 100 times better than the 70 euro jig. Change from left to right is the fastest of all jigs i found on the web. Grinding is now easy! Thank you so much!!!

This is an incredible idea, thanks for sharing it!!
I watched a lot of videos with grinding jigs but most of them had their disadvantages. Now I'm recreating this one with a litte optimization for myself. I'm adding a groundplate mounted with hinges, so the Jig can't wobble and will be always flat on the table. Thanks man!
