In Arkham city right before the big reveal, joker asked how do you keep a secret from the world's greatest detective. He answered, you place it right in front of him. Jason has been front of Bruce this whole time.
I love how the video is portrayed as Batman returning to the abandoned Asylum after years and putting together what happened to Jason through all the clues he missed.
They should've added in a theme for Jason whenever you walk in that area and not explained it until Arkham Knight where it plays during the Arkham Knight scenes
Jason Todd had a sadder backstory than Bruce Wayne. Not only did Jason not have parents but he was made a soldier by Bruce and then tortured by joker and killed. His entire life was terrible.
Jason's fate in the Arkhamverse is so much worse than in the comics. Sure, being brutally beaten by a bar until he's bloody, and then being blown-up is bad (that's a lot of B's), but being physically and mentally tortured for well over a year, taught that the person he looked up to is the bad guy, left alone in the darkness for long periods of time, made to suffer the abuse at the hands of multiple different people who enjoyed it so much, and slowly losing hope that the one person he counted on coming to his aid had forgotten about him....
I knew they were referencing Jason when Joker said “it looks like you could use a new sidekick” implying that Jason was just recently “killed” by Joker, but I never knew the Jason references were this deep!
I don’t think they were thinking this far ahead when making Arkham Asylum but they clearly did look back and improvised as best they could. Mind-blowing nonetheless.
I did some investigating from sources in Arkham knights city stories”the fall”. It said that Jason came from the kindergarten. And followed a blood trail. So i did the same and it lead me all across the asylum map. Showed me where he was tortured in the penitentiary, sanatorium, kindergarten, intense treatment and worst of all. The asylum bat cave
