Just bought it on Friday. It shipped and I should have it today. Thanks for the great suggestion

can't wait to get my hands on

I want it! It is not available in our country, but I know, I want it!

Considering the new lens. I currently have the Tamron but it is very heavy with the lens collar

Thanks for the preview. I'm quite excited by this. Up to this point I was considering saving up to buy a second hand GM 100-400 4.5-5.6 but even that is little on the big size for me. I often walk with my camera gear and so larger lenses tend to get left at home more often, so a smaller lens with good performance (albeit slow aperture) is very appealing.

Did you say the camel was the ugliest animal in the zoo? 😂

Great review! Do you have any plan to make a video comparing against SEL 70350g lense? For aps-c camera usage?

Nice review

如果照這方式設計出35-150，是不是更佳輕便！
期待，sony後續的產品。

How do you compare this with Sigma 100-400 F 5 - 6.3 ? Also, can you attach teleconverter on this lens?

This made me dust up my old Canon 100-300 f5.6 L in EF mount with the sigma mc11 and play with it again. Why can't Sony make something closer to that (small, light and pic quality) than this new f8 lens? Ok AF is light-years ahead... it has stabilisation (thus only one type, not paning)... But what was the recipe back then for Canon that is lost today?

What's the point of testing a budget lens with one of the most expensive camera bodies? Pair it with a budget Sony body and tell us how well it does. That would be the real test of this lens.

Salesman !

You speak very quickly and a lot of your words just blend into being incomprehensible.
