That’s 100% a form of bullying. There’s a toxicity that crept into that show that stopped me watching it years ago

Tyra was a mean, jealous bully on a power trip back in the day.

I want someone to tell Tyra she can't wear ANY of her wigs anymore and see how she reacts!!

This is so sadistic, all of them were enjoying and getting off on her crying so much and fake comforting her.

They always used to do this to the prettiest girls, they would cut their hair, dye it an unflattering colour then tell them they had an attitude problem for not being happy about it. Then they'd send them home the following week which meant they had their hair ruined for no reason. Very toxic and basically emotional abuse.

There was no reason for them to do that to her. That was literally caused by someone being jealous of her.

The hairstylists are wrong too. If I ever saw anyone struggling that much with a change, I never would have done it.

Honestly having your sense of self stripped away like that and being so bullied and belittled for having an emotional response to it seems like such a traumatic experience especially when it will take so long to recover that sense of self :(

"no more beauty pageants"... yeah, they were mean girls and bullies enjoying seeing her cry....

That was so spiteful..you could see how heartbreaking that was for her .. I'm a hair stylist so I understand how important your hair is for your self esteem..they did that on purpose.. disgusting !

The way they wickedly and willingly destroyed those girls' spirits under the cover of giving them a modeling edge was, is disgusting. Makes me sick to my stomach.

The producers were always going to cut off Cassandra's hair purely because they knew it would upset her.

I just can’t get over the nerve of Tyra when she wears wigs 1000% of the time 😂

And the fact that the entire judges panel haven’t changed their looks in 20+ years 😂 please

When I saw it originally I felt it was 100% bullying from Tyra. She loved hurting the girls this way. She wore wigs all the time, yet she ended these girls possibility of working before they had a chance. Horrific 'makeovers'

Absolute pure bullying. They hate her and hate everything about her. That's why they did that

She did that gleefully and with a MEAN spirit.

Every one of those girls giving her crap for not liking her haircut would have been devastated if they were the ones receiving the same. The only reason they're so chipper is because they weren't getting super drastic changes to their own hair. Everyone else pretty much got to keep their length or have it added to with some basic color changes. There was 100% mean girl energy from the other models and Jay when Tyra choose to do this to her hair and I am more than convinced it was meant to knock her down.

just the fact alone that tyra can look at them with absolutely no emotion after making them cry she totally gets off on it. i literally cry when i see strangers cry!!! also the way that they hack it off… is also degrading imo

Cindy Crawford was bullied into this early in her career and she tolerated it once. She always said she regretted being bullied into changing her hair. If it wasn't ok for Cindy - it's not ok to do to any model. Shame on Tyra.

that girl Kim had the balls to complain about the red not being her thing after how she acted about the poor girl being upset about the Rosemary's baby hair cut? what a bunch of wretched people.
