The Jim Green AnatomX Stockman Is Amazing... But It's Not For Everyone

Pioneering the space that is heritage build quality and barefoot features is one of our favorite brands, Jim Green. They started with their original barefoot last which lacked a little in anatomical shape, then they listened to the masses and unleashed the very roomy and foot shaped AnatomX last. We've tried their African Ranger, African Trooper, and now the Stockman in that last, and it's pretty great. But, that doesn't mean it's going to suit everyone! Today we'll help you find out if they'll suit you, time stamps and affiliate links below.

YES PLEASE. I am that market that has the WIDE feet. I can’t wait to get these. The only ones that are ever this wide are usually really low quality. So happy Jim green is providing a wide and high quality boot.
I hope they stock them normally so it’s more affordable.
Now to pick between a sleek formal shiny black or a popping nubuck

Love the houston green roughout. Wish they offered this as a standard boot.

It would be cool if the had the atomx stockman on their website

I would 100% order these if they stocked them, I’ve wanted a Chelsea boot for a while and the other stockman model were far too narrow for me.

Wish these were stock items, I’d love to try them!

❤ the Africa zero-drop sole. Much tougher than the Anvil zero-drop sole without losing cushion.

I desperately want these to be part of their regular lineup. I especially like that green colorway.

I would order the Stockman AnatomX today if it was available on the website. Shipping on custom orders costs $150, which is almost as much as the boots.

The Anatomx fits my chubby, Fred Flinstone feet perfectly. Please keep making them!

Saving up for these, the 4e and extra volume is a pro for me.

These should definitely be stock items

Have a pair of AnatomX ARs, only wish I have is to get rid of the half sock insert. Have it plain veg-tan or plain leather or cork insole of a few millimeters. This would help those who want barefoot, can take them out, or want a little more cushion. It can be hard basically wearing them for 10+ hours, but a good insole, zero drop insole, no half insert, would assist with comfort and still be barefoot. Stockman specific: the midfoot/instep and heel and ankle should be narrower with less volume. There isnt going to be a hotspot like where most shoes have them (where the slab of leather for the laces is put on, usually on top of the ball of the foot.) And let your foot/ankle stretch them out. If it’s too voluminous then you’ll have slop in the shoe and slide sideways or forward.

My Anatomx 719’s finally came in and, outside of that tough Bronco leather that’s gonna be a pain to break in again, these are possibly the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. Texarado’s almost had it but these offer more room for the toes and it just really works for me

Lems waterproof Chelsea boots are still my all time favorite barefoot boot!

@Jamies_Here 1 month ago

I definitely need the 4E high volume fit, but customs aren’t in the financial cards for me. Maybe if you’re looking to move them on, my foot is right at 11” long 😏

Would love to full production of these boots

These would be the only boot from Jim Green I'm waiting for them to have in their regular lineup. Chelsea boots are just so easy to wear while traveling. I emailed them about it. It's something they are looking at for the future, but don't have a timeline on as yet. Hopefully soon!
