Tomorrow this 68 year old will be doing this task, thanks to your helpful video.

Thank you for the excellent how to. Incredibly helpful.

Best to replace bushing on fram also. Add washers to tighten up link

Thanks my friend. The Spindle Replacement was a breeze after watching your video :)

The inside and outside washers are different diameters. Found that out the hard way. If you put the outside washer on the inside, it will become quite jammed.

Great video you described every detail perfectly, thank you very much

you should have two washers on the wheel spindle, one is slightly smaller to fit in the recessed / inner part of the spindle , you will see that it fits in to stop the wheel hub rubbing, the other washer goes on the outside of the wheel where the circlip / c- ring fits.
I noticed when he fitted the spindle into the frame the shaft had a lot of up and down play, you should shim this with washers to prevent the spindle moving up and down excessively which would put more stress on the spindle banging up and down as the wheel moved over uneven ground.pump plenty of new grease in after fitment of these parts.

Great Video, on point!

Great video! I need to change mine out this afternoon and seeing how you did it will be very helpful!

I did exactly what you did. Apparently there is a metal ring to put on axle before you put on wheel. I wish I had done this because the cup on axle and wheel rubbed and gilded out wheel hub. But liked your video. Thx

I’ve been trying to fix my mower with the exact same problem and it’s a pain in the ass hopefully this helps

Always put the tire valve on the inside so you have something to complain about - LOL
i always complaint when i had to add air  - Simple tip mentioned here Put the valve on the Outside -  Much Easier

Got a good one what if the assembly is actually stuck wont come out or drop out i havent seen this happen video is right on

Thanks dude; just what I needed to see. Have a good day and a better tomorrow.

How do you kniow the right and left. Is it looking from the seat or from the front of the mower?

My steering is completely locked up. Replaced steering gear and teeth, same issue, now what? Would spindles cause that?

How important are the dust covers, my mower i recently got used didn’t have any anymore, it has a lot of grease but I’m worried that I need replacements, assuming I do, where would I find some?
