The yellow Kodak boxes! That's how they were displayed, but closer together at most stores. That Instamatic 44 used 126 film and took square photos. Just a few years later, Kodak came out with the 110 cameras and film that were smaller and took rectangular photos. Much more convenient.
Don't you just love it when back when, the "social order" of the mainstream entertainment industry finally realized that they had to change with the times in order to stay relevant. Maybe figuring that "poking" some fun at the up & comers would express some sort of doubt toward their authenticity.
