Today's video is a colorized version of a black-and-white photograph taken by Percival Lowell, who visited Joseon 142 years ago.

You can see the panoramic views of Hanyang, as well as palaces, streets, and shops, in vivid colors that are unlike anything seen before.

Since the original photos were very old and blurry black-and-white, it took over 100 hours just to restore the damaged and faded images to clarity and convert them to color. This video is the result of several months of hard work.

We put a lot of time and effort into this video, from research to the color conversion, so we hope you enjoy watching it until the end.
