I love the addition of the bucket cause It literally added a year into the development of the game when it was originally a one off joke where they just added Stanley and the bucket to all of the dialog

"/j" is OUT "I'm DONEY with the FUNNY!" is IN

8:07 This is genuinely one of my favourite jokes from Ultra Deluxe. Davey knew that players familiar with the original Stanley Parable would be searching through the different paths, looking for the "new content", so after a few runs of checking every nook and cranny, they just plop it down directly in your path where it's impossible to miss, zero subtlety. "You're looking for the new content? Well, here you go". When I was playing and first saw this, it felt like the game had read my mind.

I love that Penny thought she had just misinterpreted the pre-game setup as a bit at first, only to be proven 100% correct like hours later. Amazing

The skip button has some of the best dialogue in the game, but honestly this video made me realize the most important part of what its meant to do is portrayed by also not listening to a fucking second of it.

I love how giggly and even outright hysterical Penny gets when playing this, you can tell the humor is exactly the kind that clicks with her

Playing the piano is super important to video game immersion. On par with being able to pet the dog.
Biggest oversight in The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe for the Nintendo Personal Computer.

the subtitles on this are very well done :) subtitling a whole hour long stream highlight video is a lot of work and it's nice to see them here

49:10 Technically the bucket destroyer worked, because everything except Stanley, the narrator and itself are buckets

“This scene contains scenes about mental illness”
Also the scene: “Heck yes,” said mariella, “My life kicks ass!”

Y'all gotta realize, in the first stream, Penny didn't actually reveal what her threat was until like halfway through. Y'all're missing out on the absolute visceral PANIC in the chat when people realized what she was holding over us.

okay, upon rewatching does anyone get a little emotional seeing the "thank you for enjoying the new content" still? I did because it feels like such a genuine and heartfelt thank you by the end of the game

The fact that they went out of their way to ensure Stephanie was named and gendered correctly for this makes me really happy

"Heck yes, my life kicks ass!"
"And she backflipped all the way to work."
I am freaking dead.

43:09 I was watching this video at this point and then my phone died EXACTLY when the narrator went "I'm going to erase every-" and I thought it was an editing joke for like 5 seconds before I realized my phone was actually dead

The "Penny laughs at X" running joke in the subtitles just kept making me laugh every time.

Penny's furious rant at the imposter bucket at 40:43 had me in stitches. She's so genuinely mad at the narrator for this. Amazing.

Fun fact, there actually IS an Elden Ring reference hidden in the game if you glitch the jump feature into the  vent ending.

55:50 god... the video made by the narrator had me in  t e a r s. It's just so damn perfect
