It’s nice to see a group of friends sitting down and celebrating someone’s birthday with some magic the gathering

Did fantastic as ambassador’s. The exposure made me tune in to your older games of recent, and you guys steadily became one of my top five favorite commander shows. Can’t stop watching and rewatching your games and having a blast doing so.

You guys are great.

Am I tripping or are you guys not withering the attackers during the damage step?

Happy Birthday Ian, and thanks for the great show!

Yesss, love Lorwyn! Happy Birthday, Ian!

19:02 thats a sick dragonskull summit

7:55 shouldn’t Bloom Tender go to Auntie Ool’s side due to APNP (Active Player and Non-Active Player)?

A Creature with a -1/-1 Counter Dies.
Since The Reaper is the current Active Player, his trigger goes on the stack first. Then a round of priority goes in order putting Necroskitter’s ability on the Stack as well since it also sees a creature with a -1/-1 counter dying. Upon Resolution, Necroskitter gets the Bloom Tender and The Reaper doesn’t.

FUN COMMANDER DECKS, THEY GO CRAZY!!!!

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉YES MORE LORWYN

Awesome Hoodie and great episode!!!!

22:35 the elementals from myriad are exiled at the end of combat. Not sacficed at the end of the turn. So wouldn't get Omnath triggers.

12:06 This is incorrect

Notes and Rules Information for Maelstrom Wanderer:
Each instance of cascade triggers and resolves separately. The spell you cast due to the first cascade ability will go on the stack on top of the second cascade ability. That spell will resolve before you exile cards for the second cascade ability.

You cast Maelstrom (8) by evoking it for (4) with Ashling's effect; there are 2x Cascade triggers on the stack.

Stack: {Maelstrom} > {Cascade 8} > {Cascade 8}

First Cascade resolves, you exile Champion of the Path. You cast it and have to as an additional cost to cast this spell, behold an Elemental (Flamebraider) and exile it.

Stack: {Maelstrom} > {Cascade 8} > {Champion of the Path}

Resolve Champion of the Path.

Stack: {Maelstrom} > {Cascade 8}

Second Cascade resolves, you exile into Realmwalker. You cast Realmwalker.

Stack: {Maelstrom} > {Cascade 8} > {Realmwalker}

Realmwalker resolves. Now since Realmwalker is a changeling and is an elemental creature type it will trigger Champion of the Path when it enters the battlefield.

Stack: {Maelstrom} > {Champion of the Path Trigger}

Realmwalker will deal 2 damage to each opponent (it's power) from the Champion of the Path trigger.

Stack: {Maelstrom}

Maelstrom resolves and has an evoke trigger and since it's an elemental creature it will trigger Champion of the Path when it enters the battlefield.

Stack: {Maelstrom Evoke Trigger} > {Champion of the Path Trigger}

Maelstrom will deal 7 damage to each opponent (it's power) from the Champion of the Path trigger.

Stack: {Maelstrom Evoke Tigger}

Maelstrom will get sacrificed due to evoke and will trigger Ashling's effect to create a token copy of Maelstrom.

Stack: {Ashling Trigger}

The Token copy of Maelstrom is created and eater the battlefield and will trigger Champion of the Path.

Stack: {Champion of the Path Trigger}

Maelstrom will deal 7 damage to each opponent (it's power) from the Champion of the Path trigger.

Stack: {Empty}

The difference is a total of 2 damage to each player but it could have been more or less depending on what the second cascade exiled.

the intro would look better if the background was mango colored

Ok very cool game. Have a nice birthdaywin.

What makes me Wonder. I see all these commander games with auntie and the no more king. That means 2 decks with -1-1 counters. I wonder if these decks also do this great if onky one deck has the -1-1 strategy

Was the decklist for the Ashling ever posted?

Playing a bloom tender just before the guy who has a commander which can steal it on the very next turn was definitely not a great play haha. Funny enough i had this happen to me today, played it turn two, was hyped 'cause it's the fable frame foil and looks so nice, just to have it killed by an orcish bowmaster right after ;(

a question about cavalier of dawn that it's casted at 24:44: ashling die after omnath target it with his ability, shouldn't cavalier of dawn then not come back as a token because ashling is not anymore on battlefield?

sorry thats a totally random question but the who's wearing glasses has a sick shirt! where do i get one and whats the brand?:D also great video too! im trying to upgrade my own ashling the limitless deck

I think Reytro snowballed the game, he could have been well set up the next turn

Hey Ray, what was that card you wanted to play but didnt have enough mana to?
