10:00 Honestly, I think that's a really big part of why Alveus has been so successful... People get IMMEDIATE feedback on what their donos go towards, instead of the longstanding non-profit "Trust Me, Bro™" dono model where you have NO IDEA what your gift is being applied to. Which on top of this dono understanding, people can also directly get gifts for the animals, and then often times get to see them eat/use/play-with said gift. Same goes for the human enrichment gifts (food, tools, etc).

Yea... hopefully this will be the model going forward for all wildlife institutions, because it works! Of course, it means streaming lots of stuff, too, but Alveus provides plenty of "educational material" for them to study for how to do that, too lol
It's been awesome to watch this all unfold over the years, so with that said: bravo Maya and the entire Alveus team, AND Maya's friends who have also been pivotal in charity drives!
👏👏👏🍻

“there were birthdays that i didn’t have anyone” 1:00:24 PACK IT UP RN i broke down

I'm a cleaner and I always have something in my headphones while I do my stuff and I had to pause when the video of siren played gosh.
Hearing her for the first time in a while made me realise how much I miss hearing her yell her heart out in the back of the stream
Now I'm crying 😅.
Rest in peace birthday girl I miss you so much

My favorite items you get are treats for all of the animals. I know I love treats, and I bet they do too. 😂

38:42 In The Netherlands we have Stichting Leeuw. They rescue big cats and train them to hunt again. In the arena they use a system to move the prey arround. Its really cool and maybe you dont have to invent the wheel again :) They are building serval enclousures to ATM

Am I the only one who’s excited to see the food delivery system for ARI because a flying carcass just sounds hilarious

Man, I tell ya... I could definitely feel the effects of not having my monthly D.O.S.E. dose! 😞 BUT the Human Enrichment Stream is back so let's gooo! 🤘😫🤘

I’m going to send some custom made stickers to Alveus PO Box soon

Big-time now?
Maya you already were ❗❗❗

i think "chentomology" is probably chen (the last name) + entomology (study of bugs), but that's just a guess
