Broke my heart a bit to see George wrestle with the fact he's now created this incredible and expansive universe in his later life that he now will likely not have enough time to explore and flesh out as he would like. We all wish he was able to do this as it would be a marvel to experience, he is a true literary genius. Despite the pressure he's under I hope he rests easy in the fact that his work and contributions will stand the test of time. In my opinion he is the greatest fantasy writer since Tolkien.

I could listen to this man for the rest of my life and i won't get bored
What a legend

George taking the time at the start to talk about the other author speaks volumes about his character.

David's face when George calls him one of the rising stars of science fiction and fantasy!

I bet he will never forget those kind words.

I'm happy that he gets to see his creations bloom in multiple medias. Great work George.

Not sure why this is unlisted? Any interview with GRRM should be shared with the world widely.

When he said “can I live forever” I said out loud “I wish you could George” undoubtedly one of the greatest writers of all time

I can totally see the other writers opinions with where to start HOTD but in hindsight Paddy Considine's performance was amazing. He really made season 1 something special.

It sounds like Winds of Winter is really tormenting George.
But don't give up! We all love your books <3

the fire and blood audio book is incredible… definitely recommend to every fan

It's nice to see George doing regular interviews again

When George started talking about real wars and @tomic 💣 the interviewer couldn’t have changed the subject faster. 😂

He reminds me of one of my professors. He just starts a story and you're swept away on his journey. I love how every "would you rather" turned into a mini story or anecdote ~

That fact he made up this whole world and every character is so amazing to me

Glad to see George is so well spoken, intelligent and healthy even at this age

This man got me into reading books and loving literature, inspired me to write and let my imagination fly, if only for fun.
Hopefully they remember him for eons past just as we have Tolkien.

I love to hear how George talks about his works! He's made so many stories and content from his world it's mind boggling that he still carries on with the series. That shows how much love he has for his works

Love how David smiled when George went into complimenting his work. If I were David, I'd probably smile like that too.

"Can't I die the way Tyrion wanted to die?" xD well played Georgie

The guy is a bona fide genius. He’s given us a fabulous expansive fantasy world based on our own with his own unique twist. I personally love the multi perceptional approach to fire and blood. So much to explore from here. Thank George
