Excellent video! I would use wedges under the legs on the far end of the table to level it. To keep the planer from tipping, use L shaped brackets and either clamp or screw them to the table.

Stick with the motorcycle theme with the lift and add a kick stand to each side to keep it stable.

Suggest level you our large work table. Should be level no matter how unlevel your floor. :)

First off, excellent presentation and well thought through build.
To greater stabilize the side-to-side movement try taking off the wheels and add 2 double glued plywood supports in place where the wheels once were, screwed on extending maybe 3” on either side and then reattaching the wheels to the plywood creating an outrigger effect thus giving the unit more stability.

Great idea! Just 2 suggestions. 1. Level your bench to match the plane of your planer. 2. Use a larger lift table platform that will give you the support and stability you are looking for and still be able to fit under your benches. You could acquire a lift cart in the right size and modify it to your needs by removing any handles or other attachments that you do not need. I hope this is helpful.

Thank you for doing this. I was thinking of doing the same thing and use a motorcycle stand. Now I will use the stand as a mobile outfeed table instead.

For the slope issue, there are adjustable casters that you could put on the bottom of the assembly table legs, then adjust the far end up, keeping the planer end down low.
