The black supreme definitely popped more than the standard supreme .

The new Selmers sound great, but your voice is strongest for me on the MkVI. The way you play that Tribute mouthpiece is killer advertising for Selmer.

That softly sunrise on the modern horn sounds the best!

The Mark VI rules again

The Signature has command to it🎷🔥

The black one sounds awesome. I don't know how to describe it but it has a very open sound.

That all black is really something. I usually dislike black horns, but, this one just sucks all the light out of the room in a really cool way. Fits a certain aesthetic.

Great video like always! The Signature in my opinion had the resonance and projection most similar to the lacquer on the VI. The Supremes were both great horns, but the setup and metal composition on the Signature fits your playing most like the VI!

Omg I absolutely LOVE your sound! I felt like you were taking me on a musical journey during your solo too! Hearing you play has gotten me so pumped to practice 🎉 🎷 🙏 THANK YOU!!!

Man, honestly, they all sound great in your hands...killer horns, insane playing

1st one. Freeblowing and full rich tone at the same time. No doubt for me. As listener...

The Black is so special. Looks like a shadow! Great Sound as well!!! Thanks for the demo.

VI-Signature-Supreme-All Black Supreme. You made all sound incredible! Speaking of incredible, I would have loved to hear the Axos as well in this comparison video.

I've played both the Supreme and Signature.  I was also surprised because I liked the Signature a lot better.  The Supreme was too bright no matter what mouthpiece/reed setup I used.  The Signature had more character and versatility for me.

I have the supreme and played the signature for a few days and loved it but opted for the supreme however, when I added the signature neck to the supreme I was blown away

I have a Supreme and absolutely love it. Having said that, I did have to send it to a tech for proper setup and to make it fit my playing feel better. After that it really took another  life and felt more "free". I feel your MVI has a more centered sound and sounds beautiful. The black supreme sound is on a different level.

I really like the Supremes they’re great horns and for the die hard vintage lovers I don’t think anything will sway them but for everyone else these offer great intonation, better ergonomics, and they still have the Selmer sound baked in.

I was eating my waffles and listening to you play the horns. I enjoy the way you play when suddenly I hear something different and special. I thought of Mr. Coltrane. I looked up and saw you playing the black anniversary horn. That’s a great horn and made you sound even better. Peace

Love the Signature. Seems to have more body to it’s sound than the other modern Selmers.

Thank you for this demonstration. Sounds great. Your mouthpiece and reed seemed to match up perfectly with the Signature. If you have an opportunity to try saxes like that again, try switching the necks around. It's usually the neck that makes the biggest difference if you compare saxes using the same mouthpiece and reed. I love having multiple necks for my sax. My warmest-sounding mouthpiece and warm-sounding reeds match up great with my brighter-sounding neck. My brighter-sounding mouthpiece and brighter-sounding reeds match up great with my warm-sounding neck. If one neck is more free-blowing than another neck, you will need different strength reeds to match up with the different necks.
