Henry‘s people are one of the best in our industry. Love to work with them and the guitars are phenomenal especially for the price ❤

Just purchased my second Henrys ( this time acoustic ) - and again: unbox , start playing, and just smile.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Henry's peeps are the best, AND they have passion for what they do! 🤘🔥

"Unexpected aging" that was a good story. I would like to have one of those actually. This was great, I like their intent. Will keep an eye on Henry's. Thanks for sharing.

Henning, thanks for being the first (or among the first) to showcase Henry's guitars. I bought my ST-1 Python based on your review and continue to be amazed by just how good it is - far better than the Dickweasel Strat that I bought new in the 1980s. I'll be really interested to see the new custom shop line when it comes out, as I like the idea of a more vintage neck radius. Aged hardware would be a definite plus for me if Henry's can source it. Lastly, I think Buttone picks are fantastic - a totally unique playing experience compared with anything else I've got, and I recommend anyone to give them a try.

I have 2 Henry’s str…sorry, snakes, and they are both incredible guitars. Lightweight, great sound, fantastic necks. Honestly can’t say enough good about these! Recorded my upcoming album with them.

Wish they had offset models too.

I guess I am weird but I like heavier guitars🤷🏽‍♂️ p.s. bought a short scale bass from Henrys and I love it.

I like these Henry’s people. I bought a cheap guitar from Artist (before Henry’s existed) whilst two of mine were away being serviced. It was the relic tele in white. I am not sure if it was from the same factory as Henry’s, but I was blown away how good it was. I have since put a Callahan bridge on, Radioshop pickups and blender knob mod. I took it to Charlie Chandlers to get plek’d. They were very impressed with it too. That guitar is WAY better than any Fender factory guitar. £250 for guitar, £400 in parts upgrades and £150 for a set up/plek.

Will they have different bridges at the Barber? Love the idea but there are soooo few companies who have the option for hard-tail strats. something I never understand. especially on good value for money guitars, a good hard-tail costs so much less than a good tremolo....

The Henry's web site shows a lot of guitars as sold out, inlcuding the Surf Green ST SSH. Is a new major re-stocking due any time soon?

@marmadukewinterbotham2599 23 hours ago

Patina guitars from the same Chinese factory?

I feel like when you like some company, you give them harder time than others.

"mother of toilet seat' came from a bad-tempered you tuber ten to fifteen years ago. he used it to insult the guitars he was reviewing , referring to the pearlescent plastic that many seats here in the states are made of, ostensibly because real mother of pearl was too difficult or expensive. for the life of me i cannot remember his name.
i had no idea that anyone was using the term to sound fancy -- that's funny. : )

Henry's if you reading this, you are a VERY interesting brand, but I have a couple of thoughts:
1) Please get rid of the Paulownia bodies.. Nah really, I'll never pay 750 euros for this wood, no need to get into reasons, they are well known.
2) Expand into other shapes, J and EX shapes will bring you quite of few more customers.
3) I don't have a problem with made in China, in fact I even own one for which paid over 1K euros. The Customizable guitars idea is awesome!
CHEERS!

please help me ... i do not understand how "aged" and "quality" are not an oxymoron! the dings and chips my poor guitar has were honestly acquired and if i were going to buy a new guitar, i'd want it to also LOOK new. it seems i am the only one though. ?
the store looks really cool. i wish i lived closer so i could visit it myself. : )
