lol watching the vod as I edit a video, and am at the bit where you talk about RaC speedrun tricks. Yeah this decade the tricks have gotten really extreme. A few years back I was getting into speedrunning it and trying to find new tricks/experiment with boxies around the time they were found... I couldn't get them consistently but now there are cool setups for it at least, rather than randomly trying and failing. I love the movement tech in those games though. I did actually find one trick that has only been used in a TAS. It's the tractor beam proxy (at least what I called it at the time). If you jump on top of a tractor beam block when it's connected, you get sent flying. Also works when you put miniturrets/decoys on top (Ratchet 2 only).
