I worked in McDonalds in Argyle Street in 1990 when I was 16 and saw two stabbings at work within about 6 months, one fatal. One scene was particularly horrific and has stayed with me all my life. Saw someone stabbed by stranger in Dunkin Donuts (where Tim Horton's is now) in the middle of the night when it was open 24 hours. Anybody that was around the city centre at that time will remember how Duke Street absolutely terrorised the place. You really had to watch if you had a bag from Cruise or Ichi Ni San or you'd get taxed. Knew multiple people robbed in broad daylight at knife point.
I got mugged twice just outside the city center for a few pounds, my brother round our area got his big taken off him, by punching him off it in the 80s, that's just a clip of what happened personally
Normalise the term classism. The entire media framework is designed around how people with money and affluence think. Lower income people are treated like a different species purely for wanting genuine representation and influence within the countrys institutions and they are rubbed off because of the assumptions around degeneracy and so on. The right sort of diversity quotas are ones based on postcode and income level. There are a tiny number of people who do recognise this and are trying to change things, but they need to be found and promoted.
Scottish TikTokers and streamers etc have a niche to exploit here. The governance of Glasgow can be made better as a result. There are good people out there who can make a difference.
