A journey through the Rossoblu's past, present, and future with one of the key figures in Cagliari's history. Roberto Muzzi is the guest of the new episode of "PodCasteddu," the Club's official podcast, hosted by Alessandro Spedicati.
Arriving in Sardinia in 1994, Muzzi experienced Cagliari viscerally, becoming one of the most prolific and beloved goalscorers of his generation. A deep bond with the Rossoblu jersey, this bond continues today in a different capacity: a member of the Club's scouting department, Muzzi is a key figure in the daily life of Fabio Pisacane's team, alongside sporting director Pietro Accardi and in the work dedicated to developing the Rossoblu's young players.
The new episode discusses precisely this: Cagliari's work with young players, from scouting to the daily life of the youth team, the Club's desire to build a Cagliari capable of looking to the future without losing sight of the present. But it also discusses the relationships built over the years, a profoundly changed form of football, and anecdotes spanning different generations.
And then there are the memories of Muzzi, a protagonist of a different kind of football and the author of many unforgettable moments in the Rossoblu. His relationship with Cagliari and Sardinia, born in 1994 and strengthened by his return to the island in 2022, is the common thread throughout a conversation rich in stories, emotions, and perspectives.
A new account of the Rossoblu's daily life, through the eyes of someone who wrote its history as a player and today is helping to build its future. Enjoy!
