I have blink and eufy 3cam both up and running side by side for comparison for over a week now.

What I've noticed:
1. Blink has 5 second pre-recording event capture which I love!

2. Eufy does not have any event pre recording ability and it captures the tail end of the triggering event which i dislike so much. Meanwhile, Blink captures the entire triggering event!

3. I have Blink and Eufy on top of each other in my courtyard. For 7 days now, Blink has captured every triggering event i.e human walking into courtyard, package drop off etc meanwhile eufy 3cam didn't capture any of those events at all which I was really surprised and concerned about.

So far my Blink is Caputing more triggering events and recording the entire event than my eufy which I'm really upset about after spending $700 on the eufy 3 kit.

Excellent review and you're tossing out a lot of great info. One point on the Blink you overlooked: You can get around the subscription problem by using the Sync Module XR. It has an SD card slot, so you can store all your clips without cloud (or subscription). It's expensive (70 bucks) but will accommodate all devices. I have three cameras and a doorbell, all going to the Sync Module XR with a 256 GB card (Blink brand card just 29 bucks). As a one-time purchase, its been worth every penny to me, Again, great info and excellent review and yes, the Eufy stuff is great.

Blink just cut off recording after owning the cameras for three years. Recording ability is from their new purchase contract. I'm shopping now so thanks for the review.

You really missed an opportunity to point out some of the better capabilites of the Eufy. The Eufy app has a much , much better interface. You can see all all on ONE screen with the Eufy app. Not so with the Blink. This is a great feature if you want to stream your security camera images to your big screen TV keep in thae background if not watching TV. Eufy also makes an indoor camera that stores images to a hub (and no subscription needed).

The big downside to Eufy is that the batteries are NOT replaceable. They are internal lithiums. They ARE powere hungry and it takes about 4 hours to charge. Not as convieniet at the Blink cameras. Whey they die, pop them out, put in new ones and be up and running in minutes, not hours.

I have Eufy solar cameras. I find they miss a lot of events, they only record the tail end of the trigger. That's why I was looking at Blink. I like no subscription which is why I invested in Eufy. I just ordered some Blink flood light cameras on prime days to try out.

Thanks, I have Eufy cameras and doorbell and I saw the Blink 4 - 3 cameras for $99 thought I might get some for blindspots, I love my Eufy cameras, I also have a wired Eufy doorbell, no need to charge and it works with the built in house chimes and the tilt piece angled it perfectly.

I’m not sure but my blink cameras do not show full picture like I see on your video and others, in order for me to see everything I have to enlarge it to see😢

The blink mini 2 has color night vision & a light that you can turn on and off, the mini 1 do not have either.

I have had eufy for 5 years and kind of hate them. They have missed so many events, they dont hold a charge and one of the cameras just refuses to work. Im torn between trying blink or upgrading the eufy
