I appeared on Wonderama in 1966 as a six year old. Sonny Fox was the host in NYC before Bob McCallister. He really didn't like kids and treated us shabbily. Reminiscing with George and Scott, always great.
Roller coasters ..60 yrs old and still ride them . Me and my husband are coaster enthusiasts. He has ridden 150 different coaster across the US. I have ridden 138 different coasters across the US. Never too old!
I saved my ice cream money every week to be able to buy tiger beat to be able to write a letter to Scott every single week. My room had no space to see the wall it was plastered with Scott's picture. Airbrushed t shirts with his name. Have both of his albums. I stood in line and got to see him at cavalcade of customs in Cincinnati. To be 54 able to watch you every week on your podcast I never would have believed as a child and teenager. I had a tape recorder and I would tape record Happy Days and listen to it over and over again. Thank you for having this podcast...I never got a letter back but that's ok! Bailey looks like you! It's so awesome to see you every week!
Scott! Just got hep to your show when you talked about your friend passing away! I’m now hooked on your show! I’m the same age as you, and I always liked you from several shows you’ve done! When I watch you, you remind me of kids I grew up with back in the 70s! I grew up in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, and I swear we’re the same people! Nobody knows what I mean, if you didn’t grow up in the northeast! Love you!❤
Scott, I have been feeding 4 generations of raccoons The last family had five babies and I've seen all five grow up. They all ate out of my hands. They came to my lunch screen door and stood on their hind legs. When we sat out there and said what I thought they would be saying. We're here. Feed us now. They were the cutest. Our garbage cans are out. We started with keeping them in the garage cuz we were worried about raccoons and other animals getting in them like the opossums and the armadillos. But we since put them out 4 years ago and they never ever touched our cans unlike what used to happen to me in New Jersey where I was constantly picking up garbage. But these raccoons if I could take one when it was a baby was about the size of the of my hands. My fist I would have brought one in and kept it as a pet. They are so so smart and just so cute they would stand up at my my bird bath and drink water out of the bird bath. So of course I had to put down a bowl, a dog bowl and I used to keep water out there for them everyday. They're just the smartest animals
I drove a school bus while my boys were young for about 16 years and I had 3 rods and a tackle box always in my school bus... Any field trip I did I was prepared! My boys were fishing before they started school! Now my oldest has his 6pack captains license. Had a fishing charter business in Montauk when we lived in NJ!
