I just don't believe my eyes what I saw .. for me it is very hard to sing with force while lying on the ground..... but ..... no words .... huge respect
look at his performance ...at tht age he is performing live and just hear the strong voice ...his badluck is tht he was not here in this era....otherwise people wud hav been
crazy ..
'Melody Makers' Orchestra (Mumbai & Pune) accompanying Kishoreda in this Live performance in New Delhi for Sports Aid. We were really honoured and are still proud that we could accompany the legendary singer in all his shows in India and Abroad for nearly a decade:)
splendid performance by the GOD of vocals....at 3:27 i think guru just started with the stanza and forgot a short piece of music to be played...which he smartly made up...
it's so nice to see members of the audience walking on stage, reaching up to Kishoreda and taking his autograph. No protocols, no bouncers, no bodyguards. Today's concerts are nothing but shallow dazzle organised by big corporate houses. Everything is too flashy and jarring nowadays - the blinding lights, the ear-piercing music, and the corporate bosses sitting in the front row and sometimes walking up on stage to the announcement of such gibberish as: "And now we invite Mr. XYZ Chopra, CEO of ABC Company, on stage to light the diya and inaugurate the function." Everything is just a game of money, power and wealth. The concert is just a way to showcase the sponsoring power of corporate houses. Just look at the sweet clumsiness of the entire concert in the video. Those were the days ! Things were far less organised, but everything had a soul - a passion that got reflected in the smiles of the people on stage and the casual attitude of the orchestra group - casual, yet never missing a tune or note, and playing in perfect sync with the singing legend performing with them.
true all-rounder...what a great staging skills ...u can clearly see the pathetic infrastrure which is reasonable for that time....but it is the energy and voice of kishore da which makes it looks great
I love this artist as he lives in the heart of every 5th person, or maybe more on earth today. Historical personality. May his great soul rest in peace.
