Regarding the music in this program, I think it was actually handled better than in most YouTube versions of desert island discs. We are given a reasonably long excerpt of each piece whereas usually one is given the opening bars of a piece followed by a brutal cut to the ending bars of the same piece. So kudos to whoever edited this show!
When he performed in The Cambidge Footlights at The Hexagon in Reading he was in a sketch involving a driving instructor...l was laughing so much he looked cinema my direction and said " Are we going past a zoo?" Clearly an ad-lib...which the following week was quoted in Reading's local newspaper...much to my delight
