Did anyone else automatically think of Juno from The Descent when they were talking about Worst Bestie?

@domsharpe5936 2 years ago

I was thinking Alex Le Domas from Ready or Not. He's such a whiny baby and he totally knew about the curse and just didn't tell Grace or give her the chance to back out.

I love how no one ever refers to Ethan Hawke’s characters by name, they are all just Ethan Hawke

My immediate thought was Helen Lyle's husband from Candyman, not only is he (probably) cheating on her with one of his students when the movie begins, Helen's 4 weeks committed to an institution and he moved the student INTO their house and is letting her paint the walls. Like. Dude. Look at your life, look at your choices.

If we ever do a BEST friend, instead of worst bestie bracket, I’m nominating Rod from Get Out. Most clutch best friend in movie history.

Gerald calling himself daddy always gets me when you take into account what happened to Jess when she was a kid. Gives me shivers every time.

Now I am petitioning for the worst best friend march madness next year 😂 my bet is already on Juno from the Descent

Micah is the ultimate “gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss.” This guy practically invented this genre of dude.

Petitioning Markie from Truth or Dare to be a contender for worst friend. I know how much Chelsea and James hate her 😂

I'm SO glad that Sinister got mentioned. Ethan Hawke's character wasn't gonna escape this one! That point made about "We didn't move two doors from another murder house, we moved IN to the murder house." It feels so real but also hilariously around the rules something like Homer Simpson would do or say.

We AAALLL know who the BEST horror boyfriend/husband is and that goes to my main man Bret from 2016’s Lights Out. Doesn’t gas light Becca into thinking she’s crazy, helps care for her and Martin while being pushed away, and of course comes back to hug and comfort Martin during the finale that I won’t spoil here for anyone who still needs to see it.

I cannot tell y'all how many times per week someone in my household randomly shouts "YOUR TITS ARE STUPENDOUS!" Trent is awful but he brought so much joy into my life.

MOLLY'S LITTLE SWEATSHIRT!

You could argue that Tyler from The Menu could have been a contender for this because his original date for the dinner was his girlfriend; they just broke up before then.

Dan with Meg: do better my guy
Dan with Herbert: the best malewife you could find for Herbert

Side note: I think it would be fun to have a matchmaker type game where people from different franchises that would be good partners are matched up. Like, how would either movie change is x was this person's partner instead of y.

Limited to movies/franchises where the partner ISN"T the killer (cause duh).
